Eligibility:
- Candidates should know about the minimum eligibility criteria required for the NEET SS entrance exam before the registration process. To appear for the entrance exam, it is compulsory for candidates to fulfill the eligibility criteria of NEET SS. Following are the eligibility criteria of NEET SS:
- Candidates need to have a postgraduate degree in MD/MS/DNB or any equivalent examination.
- Candidates who passed their postgraduate degree on or before September 25, 2021, are eligible to apply for NEET SS 2021, without the degree candidates will not be allowed to fill the application form.
- They must have a permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC).
The foreign national candidates who want to take the NEET SS examination for admission to a specific specialty need to satisfy the certain eligibility criteria:
- The Non-Resident Indians don’t need the MCI registration certificate to appear for NEET SS but they do need to be registered with the respective medical authority of their country.
- After clearing the exam, a temporary registration will be offered to such candidates till the duration of the postdoctoral degree.
