Tata Institute of Social Science National Entrance Test (TISSNET) is conducted by Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) to offer admissions for MA in Human Resource Management and Labor Relations, MA in Social Entrepreneurship and MA in Globalization and Labor. Some of the programs in Social Health only have descriptive papers.  The MA (HRM & LR) earned at TISS is equivalent to an MBA in HR. The TISS scores are accepted to give admissions in the different TISS campuses located in Mumbai, Tuljapur, Chennai, Guwahati, and Hyderabad.

TISSNET 2020 Cut off:

TISSNET CUTOFF 2020 will be published on its official website. The cut-off is the minimum marks to be scored in an entrance examination in order to qualify for the admission/counselling process. The candidates will get a chance to get admission into the Tata Institute of Social Sciences if they secure marks that is equal to or more than the decided cut off marks. The cut of is decided by the organizing authority of the examination i.e. Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS). TISSNET Cut-off may change every year. The main factors that have a great influence on Cut-off determination are mentioned below:



TISSNET 2020 Application form:

Step-1: Registration

In this process, the student needs to register with the official website with a valid email id and a phone number. 

Steps of Registration:

a) Open the official website of TISS

b) Enter the personal details with email id and phone number.

c) A system-generated message will be sent by the college to the aspirants. The message will have the registration number and the password for the further process.

Step-2: Fill up all the required details such as personal details, academic details & Communication details like phone number, email address, etc.

In this process, the student has to provide necessary personal details like his/her name, date of birth, guardian's name, contact number date of birth, etc. The details provided on the application page should be correct. This is because if it is found the details provided are not real then the registration of the candidate will be canceled and the fees of registration will not be refunded to the candidate. 

Step-3: Uploading of necessary documents.

The students are required to upload the images within the prescribed format and the pictures should not be blurred or unrecognizable. The required certificates too need to be real at its very best. 

Step-4: Recheck the form and submit the application form.

The aspirant should recheck the details provided so that no wrong information is provided which can cancel the registration of the candidate. After checking all the details the aspirant can submit the application form by clicking on the submit tab.

TISSNET 2020 Counselling:

After the release of the result, qualified candidates have to appear for the counselling session with required documents in June 2020. The allotment of the seats will be done according to the merits and no of applicants in the entrance test. The process of counselling is expected to be held in June. The document verification, confirmation of application will be held after the date is announced.

The Counselling Process is conducted in two stages:

Stage I: Pre-Interview Test / Group Discussion (GD)

Candidates who clear TISSNET exam are called for the Pre-Interview Test (PIT) / Group Discussion round. The PIT will be conducted in the form of a Written Test or a Group Discussion. The duration of PIT is generally 35-40 minutes. For some courses, the PIT consists of 2 sections- Essay writing and a short case study with questions based on it. Stage II: Personal Interview (PI)

Candidates who clear the PIT/GD round are then eligible for the Personal Interview. Here, candidates are asked questions about their past academic record, the program for which they have applied, and their future plans. 


TISSNET 2020 Result:

The conducting authority of TISSNET 2020 releases the result tentatively in May 2020 in online mode. The result consists of the section-wise as well as the overall marks of the candidates. The name of the qualified candidates take place in the merit list and they can appear in the counseling process.

Academic Qualification:

1. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university.

2. Candidates who have completed their final year by Monday, June 8, 2020, could also apply.

3. Candidates pursuing 3-year bachelor’s degree should have passed all the 4 semesters at the time of filling TISSNET application form whereas those pursuing four-year bachelor's degree must have cleared all the subjects up to sixth semester

4. Shortlisted Candidates should produce original certificates and mark sheet on the date of personal interview. Those who are in the final year of the degree programme are required to produce the mark sheets of all previous semesters

Age Limit:
There is no defined age limit for appearing in TISSNET 2020 exam or for admission to any of the course offered through TISSNET
Work Experience:
Candidates applying for Master of Arts in (Organisation Development, Change and Leadership) should have at least 2-year work experience in any field (after graduation)
