Tata Institute of Social Science National Entrance Test (TISSNET) is conducted by Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) to offer admissions for MA in Human Resource Management and Labor Relations, MA in Social Entrepreneurship, and MA in Globalization and Labor. Some of the programs in Social Health only have descriptive papers. The MA (HRM & LR) earned at TISS is equivalent to an MBA in HR. The TISS scores are accepted to give admissions in the different TISS campuses located in Mumbai, Tuljapur, Chennai, Guwahati, and Hyderabad.

TISSNET CUTOFF 2021 will be published on its official website. The cut-off is the minimum marks to be scored in an entrance examination in order to qualify for the admission/counselling process. Step-1: Registration
In this process, the student needs to register with the official website with a valid email id and a phone number.
Steps of Registration:
a) Open the official website of TISS.
b) Enter the personal details with email id and phone number.
c) A system-generated message will be sent by the college to the aspirants. The message will have the registration number and the password for the further process.
Step-2: Fill up all the required details such as personal details, academic details & Communication details like phone number, email address, etc.
In this process, the student has to provide necessary personal details like his/her name, date of birth, guardian's name, contact number date of birth, etc. The details provided on the application page should be correct. This is because if it is found the details provided are not real then the registration of the candidate will be canceled and the fees of registration will not be refunded to the candidate.
Step-3: Uploading of necessary documents.
The students are required to upload the images within the prescribed format and the pictures should not be blurred or unrecognizable. The required certificates too need to be real at its very best.
Step-4: Recheck the form and submit the application form.
The aspirant should recheck the details provided so that no wrong information is provided which can cancel the registration of the candidate. After checking all the details the aspirant can submit the application form by clicking on the submit tab.

TISSNET 2021 Counselling:
After the release of the result, qualified candidates have to appear for the counselling session with required documents in June 2021. The allotment of the seats will be done according to the merits and no of applicants in the entrance test. The process of counselling is expected to be held in June. The document verification, confirmation of application will be held after the date is announced.
The Counselling Process is conducted in two stages:
Stage I: Pre-Interview Test / Group Discussion (GD)
Candidates who clear TISSNET exam are called for the Pre-Interview Test (PIT) / Group Discussion round. The PIT will be conducted in the form of a Written Test or a Group Discussion. The duration of PIT is generally 35-40 minutes. For some courses, the PIT consists of 2 sections- Essay writing and a short case study with questions based on it. Stage II: Personal Interview (PI)
Candidates who clear the PIT/GD round are then eligible for the Personal Interview. Here, candidates are asked questions about their past academic record, the program for which they have applied, and their future plans.

Candidates looking forward to applying for the TISSNET should be well aware of the eligibility criteria to avoid any rejections in the later stage. The criteria are mentioned below:
- Each candidate should have completed their three years of an undergraduate degree from a well recognized University.
- Those candidates who are in their final year of graduation degree are also eligible to apply for the test, but they have to submit their final year results to the authorities as asked. Till the results are out, the candidate’s admission will be a provisional one, and if he/she fails to submit their results, the admission will be canceled.
- Candidates continuing their 3rd or 4th-year degree program and have cleared all their semesters like 1-4 and 1-6 respectively are eligible for TISSNET.
- There is no such age limit required to apply for TISSNET.
