Counselling For AIPGDEE 2021:
1- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) organizes the AIPGDEE counselling for 50% All India Quota MDS seats.
2- The AIPGDEE 2021 counselling will take place online.
3- The AIPGDEE 2021 seat allotments will take place on the basis of the ranks achieved by the candidates in the AIPGDEE.
4- Documents will also be verified during AIPGDEE 2021 counselling.
5- Candidates are required to submit all documents along with AIPGDEE 2019 Admit Card and AIPGDEE Rank Letter during AIPGDEE 2021 counselling procedure.
The 50% All India Quota online counseling for PG admissions to dental courses has the following basic steps:
Step 1: Main on-line Counseling Registration
Step 2: Choice Exercising and Locking
1- Once online registration is completed the candidate has to fill in choice of subjects/courses and colleges/institutions in order of his/her preference for the first round of AIPGDEE 2021 seat allotment.
2- Till the deadline exists and until the candidate has not locked the choices, he/she can modify the choices or the preference order.
3- Once the choices have been locked no changes can be made.
4- If the candidate does not lock the choice before the deadline, their filled choices will be automatically locked on the mentioned day and time.
5- However the candidate can take a print out of the choices filled and keep it for future reference.
6- If the candidate doesn’t register and fill the choices, he/she will not be allotted any college despite his/her rank in the AIPGDEE 2021 rank list.
Step 3: Process of Seat Allotment – Round 1
The process of seat allotment will be based on the AIPGDEE Rank list and the availability of seats in the AIPGDEE participating institutions. Once the candidates have been assigned with the courses and colleges, their result will be declared on the official website. The students have to report in the college with the required set of documents to claim their seat.
Step 4: Round 1 Result Declaration
The results of seat allotment for Round 1 will be declared in the official website.
Step 5: Reporting at the allotted Medical / Dental Institute after first round
1- In case the candidate is allotted a seat in Round 1 counseling, he/she has to complete the admission formalities in the institute within the given period and time.
2- Only then the candidate can avail the option of participating in the Round 2 counseling.
3- Besides the candidate must give the option of participating in the Round 2 while joining the allotted seat during Round 1.
4- Otherwise neither he/she will be considered for the Round 2 seat allotment process nor can he/she access the option of up-gradation of seat.
Step 6: Process of Seat Allotment - Round 2
The second round starts with a new choice filling and consecutive seat allotment.
There is no fresh registration of candidates.
Candidates who are eligible for Round 2 Counseling :
Group–I: The registered candidates who was not allotted any seat in the Round 1.
Group-II: The registered candidates, whose allotted seat is cancelled in the first round due to discrepancies in the document verification during admission. Also the candidates who have secured seat under reserved quota but have changed the category in the second round to unreserved.
Group–III: Candidates who have agreed to participate in Round 2 for up-gradation during the admission procedure of Round 1.
1- Candidates who are not eligible for Round 2 of counselling
2- Candidates who have not reported at Allotted Institute after in Round 1.
3- Candidates who have reported & withdrawn (Resigned) from counseling at Allotted Institute.
4- Candidates who became non-eligible due to change of category.
5- Candidates who have not chosen up-gradation.
6- The seat conversion from reserved to unreserved category will be processed during the Round 2.
7- The conversion of vacant reserved seats will be carried out according to the following algorithm after seat allotment during Round-2 to PH/Reserved category candidates:
ST (PH) -> ST
SC(PH) -> SC
UR (PH) -> UR
OBC(PH) -> OBC
ST -> SC
SC-> UR
There will not be any indicative allotment in 2nd round of allotment.
Step 7: Round 2 Result Announcement
Step 8: Reporting at the allotted Medical / Dental Institute after second round
Step 9: Publication of net vacant seats
Step 10: Choice Submission by candidates eligible for Round 3
Step 11: Process of Seat Allotment - Round 3
Step 12: Round 3 Result Declaration
Step 13: Reporting at allotted Dental College after Round 3
Documents Required at the time of AIPGEE 2019 Admission:
1- Admit Card-cum – Confirmation Slip issued by AIIMS
2- Rank Letter
3- BDS Mark Sheets of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year
4- BDS Degree Certificate
5- Internship Completion Certificate from the Head of Institution or College
6- Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by DCI OR State Dental Council
7- High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate in proof of date of birth
8- Identity Proof
9- Category Certificate
10- Orthopedic Physical Disability Certificate issued by a duly constituted authorized Medical Board
