Q: From where I can get my GATE 2023 admit card?
A: GATE 2023 admit card can be downloaded from the GOAPS website. Admit card will not send to candidates via post or as an email attachment.
Q: Is Admit Card alone sufficient for gate entry?
A: No. Students must keep a print out of the downloaded admit card along with the original ID proof mentioned in the official website.
Q: Can I bring admit card with my mobile, tablet or laptop to gain entry to the examination center?
A: No. Students are advised to take a print out of the admit card along with the valid ID proof (Driving Licence, Adhar Card, Voter ID card Ration Card).
Q: After the submission of the application, am I permitted to change any of my details?
A: Yes you can. But with a certain time period. You can change your personal details before the last date of paying the fee.
Q: Can I use a physical calculator in the examination center?
A: No. Only the scientific calculator is only permissible in the examination hall.
Q: What is the mode of exam for GATE 2023?
A: GATE is a computer-based exam conducted jointly by IITs and IIsc
Q: What is the duration of GATE 2023 exam and am I permissible to go outside during the exam?
A: Time duration is 180 minutes or 3 hours.

Q: Can I get a refund if I paid twice for GATE 2023?
A: Yes it will be refunded to you by GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System).
Q: If I select the wrong paper in my GATE 2023 application form then what will I do?
A: Yes you can change the required paper but a new application with a new email ID.
Q: How many papers can a student choose while she/he filling the application form?
A: Candidates have the option to choose two subject paper at a time. Choosing the right subject is the responsibility of the candidates.
Q: Is the GATE score is useful for Jobs?
A: Basically GATE scores important to get admission into the master programme. But some Public Sector Unit (PSU) take candidates by their GATE score.
