About:

Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur formerly Malaviya Regional Engineering College was established in 1963 as a joint venture of the government of India and the government of Rajasthan. Subsequently, in 2002 the college has been given the status of National Institute of Technology and in 2007, proclaimed Institute of National Importance through the act of parliament. The institute is fully funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The mission of MNIT is to create technical manpower for meeting the current and future demands of industry: to recognize education and research in close interaction with industry with emphasis on the development of leadership qualities in the young men and women entering the portals of the Institute with sensitivity to social development and eye for opportunities for growth in the international perspective.
