North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology

Various companies from all over the country come here to recruit students to their companies. However, since the great recession of 2008-09, the number of companies visiting the institute has gone down. The students on the other hand are doing really well, showing the efficiency of the faculty members of the institute. Some of the top companies that come every year to give placements are Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Vedanta, and more. 

The placement cell of the institute is trying their level best to bring more companies to the college. The students are doing really well and they eagerly want more companies to visit their college so that they have a wider range of options to join their dream job.

Hostel

The hostel facilities are mandatory for all students. The hostels which are there have limited seats but they generally cover all the students who apply to stay in the hostel. The security and hygiene of the hostel is world-class and it is an attraction for all students. Other facilities like Wi Fi, TV, library, playroom and three-time food are given to all hostel students. The campus is very beautiful and so the hostelers can enjoy a serene environment, suitable for education. The basic price of a hostel room with food and all other facilities is Rs. 10000 per semester. Some alumni have given great reviews about their hostel life and have stated that these were the best days of their lives. 

Labs

The institute has a computer lab that is very useful to the students. This lab will always have internet facilities that the students can use in case of their need. 

Library

The library of NERIST is well equipped with all the latest books required to understand various subjects taught at the university. It also provides e-books and e-journals of famous scholars. The students are very happy with the library books and they are hungry for more the library has to offer. Many students have passed with flying colours by studying the books of the library.
