Spintronic Technology and Advance Research (STAR)

• 10+2 examination of Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology/ Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology/ Geology / Statics. The candidate should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together and must have qualified in OJEE or JEE MAIN.
• 5% seats are available over and above of the total intake under Tution Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme, whose parents annual income is less than Rs.4.50 lacs.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry (2nd year Degree courses in Engineering)

• 20% seats of total intake and carry forward vacant seats of last year are open for 2nd year admission for Diploma holders and B.Sc/+3 Science students. They must have OJEE rank for the purpose.
  
• Passed or appearing year, in diploma examination in Engineering from State Council of Technical Education and Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or equivalent with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
