Hostels

The campus of IIT Gandhinagar is spread across 400 acres of land. Hostel facilities are given to all students. It has three hostel wings where two are for boys and one is for the girls. Various facilities provided at the hostels are Wi Fi connection, common room, laundry, canteen and mess’s nutritious food. Other facilities like water supply and electricity are always available to the students. The hygiene of the hostels is also highly maintained by the students and the staff members. Since there are limited hostel seats, the students are requested to apply for a hostel seat right at the time of admission. 

Labs

The labs of IIT Gandhinagar are well equipped with all the modern facilities. These labs can be used for various uses and for high quality research work by the students. The faculty members also conduct classes at these labs. The main labs are for the departments of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering and more.

Library

The library of IIT Gandhinagar is a window to connect to the whole world of science and technologies and also of various subjects of humanities. The library has thousands of books and journals. It also provides e-books and e-journals that otherwise the students have to buy with a lot of money. The library services have been made automated and can be accessed by students at any time of the day.
