BITS Institute of Physiotherapy is currently offering Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T) course since Academic Year 2014-15. Granted intake capacity is 75 seats. Course duration is 4 ½ years, that includes 6 months of compulsory rotatory internship. In next Academic Year 2019-20, BITS Institute of Physiotherapy is going to commence Masters Programme.Physiotherapy is a health profession which promotes mobility, functional ability, quality of life and movement potential through examination, evaluation, diagnosis and physical intervention of the patients. In addition to clinical practice, other activities encompassed in the physical therapy profession include research, education, consultation, and administration. Physical therapy services may be provided as primary care treatment or alongside, or in conjunction with, other medical services.
