A very vibrant “Career Guidance/ Placement Cell” exists in the University, which has its permanent representatives in all Metro Cities. The aim is to have inter-face between the University and the Corporative World to provide all the aspiring budding students a platform to guide them for their choice careers. The Placement Cell also coordinates and monitors the requisite training to the students based on the feedback/inter -action with the industries. The placement Cell has been arranging visits of the officials of the branded industries to the University to see the capabilities/ talents of products. Accordingly, the officials provide inputs to the Training Cell for preparing/ guiding the prospective students to present themselves for their selection. In addition, the Placement Cell has been planning and organizing many job fairs to provide on the spot opportunities to the students for selection in the best of industries. It is because of the concerted efforts of the Placement Cell that a large number of students have already been placed in the renowned branded companies.

There are separate Hostels for Boys and Girls with all the modern and comfortable facilities. The rooms are well furnished, spacious and airy to enable the living of students as comfortable as possible. In fact it is with a concept to have “Home away from Home”.  cater for approx 900 students on double and triple sharing basis. University pays special attention for the safety and comforts of the students, especially the Girl students so that they all feel secured, comfortable and confident.The Hostel caution money and room rent are payable on allotment of the room in advance for the whole Semester, along with the Tuition fee, as per the rules approved by the Govt of HP. The admission in the Hostel cannot be withdrawn before one academic year.
