NEET UG 2022 Application Form:
National Testing Agency, NTA will release the online application forms for NEET 2022. Students interested in applying for undergraduate medical and dental courses are required to qualify for the NEET 2022. The aspirants of J & K who have submitted offline Application Form can also avail the correction facility in their Application Form on the website. Application number for such candidates will be shared with them separately through Email and SMS

How To Apply NEET UG 2022 Online?
Step-1: NEET UG 2022 Registration
- Go to the official website of NEET
- Click on the "New registration"
Enter the following details
- Name
- email Id
- Mobile number
- gender
- State of Eligibility
- Identification Type
- Mother’s name
- Father’s name
- Date of birth
- Category
- Gender
- Nationality
- Persons with Disability
- Identification Number
- Enter the captcha
- Click on “Preview and Next”
- Check the information provided and click on “Next”
- Register and generate the provisional application number and login credentials.
- After this, the candidates have to choose a password and type it for 2 times and then enter a security question with its answer.
- The next step is to click on the OTP verification and an OTP will be sent to the registered number of the candidate which is used to proceed.
- After successful registration, the application form will be displayed on the screen.
Step-2: Filling the NEET UG 2022 Application Form:
- Candidates have to fill all the data required in the application form. The application form consists of personal details, academic details and communication details etc.
- Click on “Click here to login”
- Login using the application number and password
- The NEET application will open on your screen
- Details entered during the registration process will be pre-filled in the application and cannot be changed
Personal details
- The personal details part of the application form required much information and Some details from Registration will be auto displayed and these cannot be changed.
- The details include Candidate’s Name (auto), Mother’s and Father’s Name (auto), Gender (auto), Category (auto), Date of Birth (auto), Nationality (auto), Persons with disability (auto), Do you belong to Minority Category?, Are you suffering from Diabetes Type I?, Identification Type, Identification Number, Place of Birth, State, District, etc.
- Then comes the " choice of medium of question paper" that the candidates have to choose from English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Urdu.
- The candidates have to choose 4 exam centres from 256 exam cities as a drop-down list.
Academic details
The academic details include all the information regarding 10th & 12th such as School Board of Class 12 or equivalent Name of School/College (passed/appearing), Address of School/College, Place of study, Year of passing, State where School/College is located, District where School/College is located, Qualifying Exam Code, Year of passing/Appearing class 12 or equivalent, Percentage of marks obtained in Class 10th if passed, Enter Roll Number of class 12
Communication details
- The candidates have to fill their permanent as well as correspondence address.
- The email id and registered number are automatically displayed from registration details.
- The candidates also required to fill the qualification, occupation, and annual income of their parents/guardians.
- Then enter the security pin and submit all the details.
Step-3: Uploading scanned documents:
- After filling all the required information, the candidates need to upload the scanned copies of their photograph and signature.
- The photograph should be postcard size with a white background having the name of the candidate and date of the photograph below the image & the Size of the file should be 10 KB to 100 KB in JPEG format.
- The signature should be in black ink pen on a white paper and should be scanned to a file with size 3 KB to 20 KB in JPG format.
Step-4: Application fee payment:
- The application fee for General/OBC Candidates is Rs. 1,600, for General-EWS/NCL is Rs.1,500 and for SC/ST/PH Candidates is Rs. 900.
- Students can pay the application fee in online mode through Debit/Credit/ Net Banking.
- Students can also pay the application fee in offline mode through E-challan of SBI bank.
- Fee payment can be done till May 7, 2022, which is also the last date for filling in the NEET application form 20202.
- Keep the proof of payment in the form of transaction ID/ receipt in case of online payment or stamped E-challan (candidate’s copy) safe as it may require at the time of admission.
Step-5: NEET Acknowledgement receipt:
- After the successful payment of the application fee, an acknowledgment receipt or confirmation page will be generated which indicates that the application form of NEET-UG is successfully submitted.
- Also, a copy of the NEET acknowledgment or confirmation page will also be sent to the registered email as well the mobile number of the candidates.
- Candidates are advised to take the printouts of the receipt as well as the form for future use.
NEET application form 2022 correction window
NTA gives candidates an option to change certain fields through the correction window of NEET application form 2022. The correction window is a one-time facility only and corrections made using this window will be permanent. However, only a few fields can be changed using the NEET 2022 application form correction window. Thus, candidates are advised to fill the form carefully in the first attempt and not rely on the correction window.

Steps to NEET correction window 2022:
- Go to the official website of NTA NEET
- Login using the application number and password
- Click on “Click here for correction in NEET 2022 Application Form”
- The filled application form of NEET 2022 will be displayed on the screen and candidates can edit the fields.
- Click on 'Preview and Submit'
- An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number
- Enter the OTP in the space provided
- Click on 'Final Submit'
- A warning pops-up on the screen
- If you are satisfied with the corrections made, click on 'Please do'
- The correction slip of NEET 2022 application form will be display on the screen
- Save and print the correction slip for future reference.
