The application form of the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam (FMGE) for December session has been released today on 11th Oct 2019 by National Board of Examination (NBE).
Through this entrance exam the candidates can continue medical practice from India after completing their medical studies abroad. The registration process will conclude on 31st Oct 2019. The FMGE 2019 screening test for the medical graduates with Indian citizenship or Overseas Citizens of India (OCis) cardholder will be conducted on 20th Dec 2019. The candidates should have the approved qualifying examination by the Indian embassy of respective country.
Here is the procedure to apply for FMGE 2019-
- Go to the official website of NBE that is https://nbe.edu.in/
- Click on the ‘FMGE’
- On the page, go to new registration
- Fill all the required details including Phone number, Email address, and other personal details.
- Using the login credentials sent to candidates’ email address and phone number, log in to the account.
- Fill all the necessary details of the qualifying examination, personal information, and exam centre preference.
- Once submitted, candidates have to pay the application fee.
- Take a printout of the final confirmation page for future reference.
The candidates have to pay Rs 5500 /- in online mode through debit/credit card or net banking. The candidates with Indian citizenship who wants to pursue a career as a medical practitioner in India can apply for it.
Some important facts related to this exam-
- The candidates can contact to the authority 15 days after the closing of the registration in case of any discrepancy in the application form.
- There are only 7 days for the candidates to rectify the mistakes in the application form from the announced date.
- The students can download the admit card from 13th Dec 2019 onwards from the official website.
- The result of FMGE 2019 is expected to be published by 20th Jan 2019.
