AIIMS Nagpur was established in 2018  under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). AIIMS Nagpur was started to serve excellence in all areas such as education, health and wellness of society of India. AIIMS have been declared as "Institute of National Importance" by an Act of Parliament 1956. It is a group of autonomous public medical institutes. Withing short period of time AIIMS Nagpur has continuously making efforts of providing medical education and training with modern facilities. The main aim of AIIMS Nagpur is providing exemplary patient and family centered health care services. AIIMS offers unique study experience through evidence based medicine. It also encourages the students to be self evaluation and independent thinking.
