Government Medical College Chandrapur

This is only medical college in Gondwana University affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Science Nashik. This college is completely funded by Government of Maharashtra. The college is under Director of Medical Education and Research Mumbai (DMER). Due to increase in industrialization in this area the health problems in this region has increased and to provide better health care in this area as earliest Govt. Medical College Chandrapur has been established in this region in the year 2015. This Govt. Medical College Chandrapur was started in the year 2015. This city lies on major state highways MH MSH 6, MH MSH 9 and state highways MH SH 233, MH SH 243 and MH SH 264at the confluence of the rivers Erai and Zarpat. The college is affiliated to MUHS, Nashik. First batch of 100 MBBS students was admitted in July 2015.Admission are made through CET / NEET (85% from state CET and 15% from All India PMT).
