The Swami Rama Himalayan University is located 25 kilometres south away from the hill station of Dehradun. This is the private university that has been established under the name of the renowned and revered Indian Yogi Swami Rama. The university was established in 2012 under the ‘Himalayan University Bill 2012’ by the Government of Uttarakhand. The university started its academic program in 2013. The main aim of this University is to provide teaching and research opportunities to all students in various fields of education. The University provides various courses in Management, Medicine, Nursing, Science, and Technology.
