dmission to Medical (UG & PG) programs is made through the online counseling process conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Govt. of India, and New Delhi on the basis of marks obtained in the NEET Examination.  

MBBS-The minimum period of training for this degree shall be 51/2 yrs inclusive of 1year of the internship.

MD/MS- The minimum period of training for these degrees shall be 3 calendar years, For further details on Admission, Student Selection, and Counselling, etc. Please refer to Chapter 2 of Regulations on Graduate Medical Education, 1997 on the MCI Official website.

Eligibility for PG Courses

The candidate must possess recognized MBBS degree and should have obtained permanent Registration as medical practitioners with the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils.In the case of foreign nationals holding non-schedule foreign medical qualifications, they must have temporary Registration (issued by Medical Council of India) for the duration of their postgraduate Training restricted to the medical college /institution to which they are admitted for the time being for postgraduate studies and for no other purpose.
