Bringing much releif to the aspirants NTA has now allows students to change their choice of city for the examination. Candidates have till April 14 to make the corrections and changes.
As the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2020) has been postponed till May-end, the HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriya asked the National Testing Agency (NTA) to extend the application correction window for students. Now, candidates can change the exam city and choice of exam centres to appear for NEET 2020.
Considering that several students have been asked to move to their home from their colleges and coaching institutes amid the coronavirus pandemic, many students would be in a different location at the time of filling forms. Thus, students can now make changes in the place of appearing for the exam.
The NEET online application form is available on the official website ntaneet.nic.in. Students can make correction in the online application forms till 5 pm on 14 April and can pay the examination fee till 11.50 pm.
The additional amount, if applicable, can be paid through credit card/debit card/ net banking/ UPI and Paytm.
On 3 April, NTA issued a notice saying that a fake public notice has been circulating regarding the change in the NEET syllabus. It informed candidates that there is no change in the syllabus.

The announcement on NEET comes a day after NTA extended the date for making amendments in JEE (Main) 2020.

Change of Exam Centre:
Candidates can also check and update the choice of examination city and centre filled in the application form. Candidates can also change the choice of examination city during the correction window.
Besides changing the examination center, verify their particulars and make necessary corrections wherever required
Personal Details:
All students are advised to check all the details entered in the application form including:
1- Date of birth
2- Spelling of their name
3- Father’s name
4- Mother’s name and so on
The details must tally with the identification card used at the time of examination. Discrepancy in the details may prevent the candidates from appearing for the examination.
Difference in documents (Class 10 passing certificate, caste certificate, etc.) may also lead to cancellation of the candidature at the time of admission.

Step 2:
Enter the NEET registration number and password in the NEET candidate login 2020 option.
Step 3:
Click on ‘Correction in NEET application form 2020’
Step 4:
Students can make the desired changes in the application form and click on ‘Preview’ to assess the application form before submitting the form.
Step 5:
After being sure about the details entered, click on ‘Submit’.
Step 6:
Enter the OTP number (One Time Password) that will be sent on your registered mobile for completing the process.
Step 7:
Candidates are advised to print the confirmation slip which will appear on the screen for further their future convenience
