SR Medical College

The S.R. Educational and Charitable Trust is a public Charitable Trust formed on 25.03.2002 with the main objectives of establishing dental, medical, engineering colleges and other educational institutions, hospitals, training centres, counselling centres and all other facilities as are calculated to be of use to the public at large. The Trust was founded in the year 2002 by Late, Sri S Ragavan, who was an eminent and accomplished personality hailing from Varkala. He enjoyed commendable social reputation as a philanthropist and social reformer. He was the Chairman of SN College, Varkala for 35 years, an Executive Committee member of SN Mission Hospital for 50 years and also a very successful businessman. The expertise and quest for furthering excellence in professional Health care education persuaded him to start the dental college & hospital. The sole aim was to impart quality dental education and to provide good health and well being to all sections of the society.
