Tamil Nadu NEET merit list has been released now and it includes the list of candidates who have qualified for the admissions to the various medical and dental colleges in the state. Earlier TN NEET merit list 2019 was rescheduled as the counselling body examined the pattern in which the seats needed to be increased to accommodate the candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category.
Hence the state accepting this quota, seats in all the medical colleges will increase by 25%, which is why the state selection committee required time to decide and plan the same.
The NEET Merit List of Tamil Nadu will include The selection committee of the Directorate of Medical Education in the state had earlier released a notification reminding the hose applicants who have not submitted the certificates to the selection committee to do the same on or before July 3, 2019, 7 PM. Candidates must also note that the NEET 2019 merit list for Tamil Nadu will be released for the students who have applied under the government quota in the government and self-financing medical colleges and the management quota in the self-financing medical colleges. It must also be noted however that the government has not made it clear whether it will be adding the 25 per cent seats for the EWS quota.
