After consortium notice, Manipal Tata Medical College is the first medical college to have both private parties. Normally the partnership is done in PPP mode (Public-Private Partnership) i.e. between one public and private party to maintain responsibility. But, only after consortium notice, it has been made possible that both are private parties.
The college welcomed the Medical Council of India (MCI) to inspect after completing the necessary infrastructure in July 2019. The MCI inspected the college and its infrastructure 2 times.
