How to Calculate the XAT Score:
The XAT score of each candidate is calculated on the basis of raw scores obtained in each section. To understand the XAT scoring process, first, let’s look at the marking scheme:
Right answer | +1 |
Wrong answer | -0.25 |
more than 8 consecutive unanswered Question | -0.10 |
Note: The percentage or percentile of GK will be calculated separately and not included in the total percentage or percentile.
The sum total of marks obtained in all the three sections (VA, DM & QA) is listed for all the candidates
The candidates are then ranked according to total marks scored in XAT
Each candidate’s rank is divided by the remaining number of test-takers and then multiplied by 100 to arrive at the XAT percentile score
How to Calculate let's know through an example:
Suppose 70000 students took the XAT test and your rank is 500. Thus your XAT percentile will be:
69500/70000x100=99.375
