XAT 2019: Application process, Changed Exam pattern

Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur has announced that XAT 2019 exam will be held on 6th January 2019 with a changed exam pattern. And registration will start on Monday, August 20, 2018. 

XAT is the second largest MBA/PGDM entrance exam after CAT. XLRI has been conducting XAT on behalf of XAMI for more than the last 60 years at All India level.

XAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: Completed Minimum 3 Years Bachelor’s Degree or in the Final Year of Bachelor’s Degree

Age: No Age Restriction

XAT 2019 Exam Pattern:

XLRI has changed exam pattern for XAT 2019.  XAT 2019 will be conducted without “Essay Writing Test” as a computer-based test. The test duration will also be for three hours instead of three and a half hours. 

XAT Exam pattern will consist of 4 sections instead of earlier 5. The first 3 sections (Verbal and Logical Ability; Decision Making; Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation) with Multiple choice questions (MCQs) will determine your merit while in last 10 minutes you are supposed to solve the 25 GK questions.

Follow given 6 steps for XAT 2019 Registration and Application process. There is no separate XAT 2019 application form. 

•Step-1: Register on XAT website to get XAT 2019 ID and Password

•Step-2: Fill in Complete Personal Details in XAT 2019 Application Form

•Step-3: Fill in Academics from class 10 onwards

•Step-4: Fill in Work Experience after Graduation in completed months

•Step-5: Fill in your choice of XLRI Programmes and choice of XAT Test City

•Step-6: Make Payment online for XAT 2019 Registration Fee, XAT Application Fee and XLRI Programme Application Fee

XAT 2019 Exam Fee:

XAT Registration Fees (Without Late Fee) till Nov 30: Rs.1700/-

XAT Registration Fee (With Late Fee) after Nov 30: Rs.2000/-

Additional XLRI Application Form Fee (Without late fee): Rs.300/- For Each XLRI PGDM Programme

Additional XLRI Application Form Fee (With late fee): Rs.500/- For each XLRI PGDM Programme)

Important Dates of XAT 2019:

XAT 2019 notification: August 14, 2018

Application begins: August 20, 2018

Application deadline: November 30, 2018

Release of admit card: December 20, 2018

XAT 2019 Exam: Sunday, January 6, 2019 (10 AM-1 PM)

The XAT 2019 score is accepted by more than 150 B-schools across the Indian sub-continent. The participating institutes are either Xavier Associate Management Institutes (XAMI) or Non-XAMI. Last year, the number of XAMI institutes was 11 and number of non-XAMI institutes was 145.
