About:

KL University (KLU), Guntur was established in 1980 as Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering. The college was made autonomous in 2006 and in 2009 it is accorded deemed to be university status. KL University is accredited by National Academic Accreditation Council (NAAC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The mission of KLU is to impart quality higher education and to undertake research and extension with emphasis on application and innovation that cater to the emerging societal needs through all-round development of students of all sections enabling them to be globally competitive and socially responsible citizens with intrinsic values. Their vision is to be a globally renowned university.
