The placement drive for PGDM (GM), XLRI's 15 months MBA programme, for the class graduating May 2018, was completed on a winning note. The batch comprised a total of 109 students, comprising of a healthy mix of core and service sector firms augmented by an active interest from start-ups gave rise to a dynamic placement process. The mean work experience of the batch was pegged at 6.7 years which clearly indicated the industry trend of welcoming experienced professionals who were enhanced by management theory. The engagement process with the recruiting partners saw majority of previous recruiters extending recruitment year on year, along with new recruiters showing interest in our program. The response from the industry was overwhelming, with the likes of Axis Bank, ZS Associates, Accenture, Dell, Genpact, taking part in the recruitment process. The rolling placements started in October 2017 and multiple roles were offered to the class of 2018 including Director, Associate VP, Business Analyst, Consultant, Senior Manager. The roles were offered for functions such as IT/ITES, Strategy, Manufacturing, Banking, Consulting, Operations, Marketing, Sales/Business development, Supply Chain, Quality assurance, and Analytics space.

• Hostel facilities at XLRI, are provided for students of the residential programs, consist of the four hostel blocks with more than 400 rooms in total.
• Every hostel room has access points linking it to the campus-wide network and the various network resources and services.
