Due to the pandemic, IIM Indore has changed the selection process in 2020. Candidates who manage to get the cut off marks in the aptitude test will be called for a personal interview. Their assessment will be on a video file that they will upload within a stipulated time after the aptitude test result is announced. Candidates will be supplied with a list of questions which they will have to answer in the video and upload. Candidates who will fail to upload the video will be disqualified.
Exam type and marking system
The three sections in the aptitude test are Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA), Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ), and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ). Each question carries 4 marks. Negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer is present. The only exception to this is in the Quantitative Ability (SA) Section. The composite score of any candidate will be based on 85 per cent marks in the test and 15 per cent marks in video-based assessment.
