IIM Kozhikode to conduct CAT 2019 Examination
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode will conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019.
CAT 2019: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode will conduct the CAT examinations, as per the details, IIM-K has planned and are scheduling for the release of the examination date and the registration details which are scheduled to be released by the end of this month on the website. For various of PostGraduates and the Fellow Programmes of IIMS, CAT is the gateway.
In 2018, the examination was conducted on November 2 at the test centers spread across as the 147 cities, which was conducted by IIM Calcutta. The IIM CAT 2018 registration window was opened on August 8 and closed at 5 pm on September 2, for which the admit cards were released on October 24.
There will be various sections for the examination, which are :
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
- Logical Reasoning
- Data Interpretation
- Quantitative Ability
The appearing candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree, with at least of the 50% of the marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in the case of SC/ST and the PwD categories ), awarded by any University or the educational institution as incorporated by an Act of the Parliament or the State Legislature of the nation, or has been declared as deemed as a University,or possess the relevant equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
CAT 2019: Selection ProcedureWritten Ability Test (WAT) - The selection of the relevant students is based on the WAT. Group Discussion (GD) followed with the Personal Interviews (PI) round, where the selected candidates will also get the admission around as the 20 IIM institutes established over the various parts of the nation.
The normalization of CAT Scores - Candidates would undergo to the Normalisation process, where the process shall adjust for the relevant location and for the scale differences for the score across different forms.
