At FOSTIIMA we believe that its our prime responsibility to ensure that all our students find placement in well-known Corporates as per their area of specialization and ability. FOSTIIMA maintains excellent contacts with well known Corporates in a wide spectrum of Industry Segments viz. Consulting, IT & ITES, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Engineering, Logistics, FMCG & FMCD, etc. to ensure ready availability of placement opportunities to the Students. These contacts are facilitated through our Pan-IIM/IIT alumni network. A two-month Summer Internship at the end of the first year of the PGPM program is an integral part of FOSTIIMA’s curriculum and as a policy, we accept only ‘Stipend-paid’ Summer Internships for our Students because we believe that internships without stipends neither add value to the corporate nor provide any learning to the student. Payment of a stipend ensures that both the Student and the Manager Guide in the Corporate take the internship seriously thereby ensuring that the Student derives the maximum practical knowledge and experience from the ‘Summer Job’ and also satisfies the Corporate with the work during the Internship. Many of our Summer Interns receive PPOs (Pre Placement Offers i.e. offer of a regular job) from the Corporate satisfied with their performance during the Summer Internship. All the Students of the 2017 2019 Batch have done Summer Internships with stipends up to Rs. 40,000 per month. The Median Stipend was Rs. 15,000 per month. More than 95% Final Year students have already been placed with well known corporate and multi-nationals. More than 10 students have got international placements. The highest package has been Rs. 25 Lacs for international placement & Rs.12 Lacs for domestic placement. The average international placement is Rs.18 Lacs and average domestic placement is Rs.8.00 Lacs p.a.

The FOSTIIMA Business School boasts of a well-equipped hostel on the campus. They understand that leaving home is a daunting task. Therefore, they wish to ease out the transition by proving a comfortable stay.The hostel facility is available for all the students. The boy’s hostel and the girl's hostel are in separate buildings within the campus. Safety of the students is an utmost priority at the hostel. The hostel fee structure amounts to around Rs. 84,000 per year. The hostel rooms are furnished with bed, curtains, study table, chair, curtains, and cupboards for storage. The students get a comfortable and suitable environment here. The rooms are huge and spacious, having easy ventilation as well. All the rooms have air conditioning too. The hostel facilities are surely up to the mark. There is a provision for clean water for drinking. The restrooms have 24*7 water supply, while there are no power cuts. Apart from that, the hostel has a canteen as well as a mess. The mess has a large occupancy and hygienic ambience. Clean and tasty food is provided here for the students, at feasible rates. In case of emergencies, the students can visit the in-house medical room and get assistance. The hostel rules are rigid, as regards to attendance and timings. But, a plethora of activities are organised to rejuvenate the students. For recreational purposes, the students can go to the TV room or playground. The students feel at ease here, almost like at home.
