The JEXPO is an eligibility entrance test for the candidates who want to join in Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering under government & private institutions. The exam is conducted for the institutions in West Bengal.

JEXPO 2021 Syllabus:

The proper knowledge of the syllabus is the most important part of the preparation process for the entrance of JEXPO. The JEXPO 2021 is comprised of 2 papers i.e. paper 1 consists of  Mathematics and paper 2 consists of Physics and Chemistry. Each of the paper carries the same mark. The syllabus of the JEXPO 2021 entrance is based on the courses of class 10th level syllabus. The syllabus is designed according to the 10th class subjects of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. JEXPO 2021 Exam Pattern:

JEXPO 2021 Cut-off:

The Cut off for the JEXPO 2021 will be announced on its official website and the list of students who have qualified the cut-off will also be provided. Generally, the publication of Cut-off marks is after of the completion of the exam. It may take one week or two weeks for the publication of cut-off. The students are therefore required to maintain a thorough update with the website, in order not to miss any kind of notification. The cut-off margins is decided by the organizing authority of the examination.

JEXPO 2021 Application Form:

The registration for JEXPO 2021 will start on January 2021. The interested candidates can apply for the entrance exam online on the official website as well as in the offline mode. Before applying for this entrance examination the students should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria of the prescribed for the degree. The students have to log in to the official website and register themselves for the entrance exam. The entrance exam fees can be submitted through online mode i.e. Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking as well as in DD form.

JEXPO 2021 Counselling:

The counselling session for JEXPO 2021 will start soon after the release of the results for the entrance exam. The counselling will be conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education. The counselling will be conducted in 4 phases. The candidates are required to bring their official original documents for the document verification process.

Steps of Counselling Process:

Step 1: Registration- Candidates can register for JEXPO 2021 counselling by following given steps:
1. Click on “New Registration”.
2. Enter Enrollment number, index number.
3. Click “Proceed”.
4. An OTP will be generated and sent to the registered number of the candidate.
5. Enter OTP.
6. Check Personal Details. Make changes if required.
7. Create a Password.
Step 2: Student Login - In the next step, candidates have to login by entering their enrollment number and password.
Step 3: Choice Locking - On successful login, follow the given steps for choice locking-
1. Go to choice filling section.
2. Select Institute-branch combination.
3. Save choices. Candidates can edit their choices as many times as they want but only before the last date.
4. Lock the final choices.
5. Take a printout of your locked choices.
Step 4: Seat Allotment - The result of seat allotment will be declared online. Candidates who will be allotted seats, will have an option to accept the seat or opt for auto upgradation. However, upgradation of seats will not be allowed if a candidate gets his/her first prioritized seat. The result of JEXPO 2020 seat allotment will also be sent to the candidates on their registered mobile number.
Step 5: Printing of Allotment Letter- If a candidate accepts a seat, he/she will have to take a print out of the final allotment letter cum money receipt. However, if he/she opts for auto upgradation, the printout of the provisional allotment letter cum money receipt will have to be taken instead.
Step 6: Payment of Provisional or Final Seat Booking Fee- If a candidate will accept his/her seat, he/she will have to pay final seat booking fee of Rs.500/- through debit card/credit card /net banking/UPI. If candidate opts for auto upgradation, provisional seat booking fee of Rs.2000 has to be paid by him/her through debit card / credit card / net banking / UPI.
Step 7: Reporting & Document Verification- Candidates who will accept their allotted seats will have to report to the allotted institute with two copies of final allotment letter cum money receipt and all original documents for the process of verification.
Candidates who will opt for auto upgradation will not have to report the institute and wait for the next rounds of counselling.

Special Offline JEXPO Counselling 2021
A special round of offline counselling will be conducted to fill the seats vacant after the online JEXPO 2021 counselling. However, the candidates who have been allotted seats in previous rounds will not be eligible for this round. The allotment of seats in the special round will be on the basis of JEXPO merit list 2021.

The result for the JEXPO 2021 will be released on the official website by the exam conducting authorities. The candidates can check their result by visiting the official website of JEXPO 2021.  Candidates will be able to check their JEXPO result 2021 by entering enrollment number or index number. Individual results will not be sent to the candidates. JEXPO 2021 result will be declared in the form of a merit rank/list. The merit list of JEXPO 2021 will also have a female general rank for female candidates. Candidates will have to score positive marks in the sections of the exam in order to qualify JEXPO. Candidates who will qualify the exam according to the result of JEXPO 2021 will be called for the counseling and seat allotment process. Final allotment will be on the basis of merit list, availability of seats and preferences set by candidates.

How To Check JEXPO 2021 Result Online?

JEXPO 2021 Answer key:

The answer key will be published on its official website. Students can download the answer to check their performance in the entrance examination. The answer key helps the student to calculate the probable marks that they can secure in the JEXPO Entrance examination. The answer key is generally published with a week or two of the completion of the entrance examination. If there is any kind of complaint regarding the answer key then the students can raise a complaint regarding the same to the concerned organizing authority within the stipulated time period. The organizing committee then will take the necessary actions to recorrect the answer key and publish the final answer key for the entrance examination.

JEXPO 2021 Eligibility:

The students should have proper knowledge regarding the minimum eligibility required for the entrance examination. If the student is found not eligible then it will be regarded as misconduct of the application process and the registration of the student will be canceled and the registration amount will not be refunded. Therefore the interested candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria thoroughly before applying for the entrance exam.

1. Candidate must have passed his/her 10th level (Madhyamik) exams or its equivalent from a Recognized Board or University.

2. Candidates appearing in the 10th level exams are also eligible

Qualifying Subjects Applying candidate must have passed his/her 10th level exams with Mathematics, English and Science/Physical Science subjects.
Qualifying Marks He/she must have passed his 10th level exams with minimum of 35% marks.
Age Criteria Applying candidate must not be born after July 1, 2005. There is no upper age limit prescribed to apply
