Vignan's Scholastic Aptitude Test (V-SAT) is a computer-based online test conducted on an all India basis for admission into B.Tech. in Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University), Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India.

VSAT 2020 Admit Card

The admit card for VSAT 2020 will be available during the 2nd week of April 2020 on the official website of VSAT. Candidates will also get their admit card through courier. Admit card the mandatory document to carry inside the examination hall.

  • Visit the official website of Vignan's University.
  • Click the Admit card link.
  • Enter Name and Registration Number 
  • Admit card is displayed on the screen
  • Download and take a print out of the admit card

VSAT 2020 Syllabus

The syllabus for VSAT consists of 4 sections i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English.

VSAT 2020 Exam Pattern

  • No of questions: 120
  • Type of questions: Multiple choice questions and objective type
  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English
  • Duration of exam: 2.5 hours
  • Marking: 1 mark for each correct answer
  • Negative marking: No negative marking

VSAT 2020 Cut-Off

The VSAT Cut Off Marks 2020 is released after the result is declared by the officials of the Vignan University. Students must score minimum marks in the VSAT to get shortlisted. Shortlisted candidates will be called by the authorities for the counseling process. Various factors affect the cut-off of an entrance exam, such as:

  • The difficulty level of the exam
  • Total number of candidates appeared for the exam
  • Previous year cut-off
  • Reservation 

VSAT 2020 Application Form

Candidates can apply for VSAT 2020 by 4 methods:

1. Direct:
Candidates can obtain applications by post from the University Admissions Office on payment of Rs. 1200/- through DD drawn in favor of Vignan University, payable at Guntur or in-person from any of Vignan Schools or Colleges at Guntur, Hyderabad, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Ongole and Vignan offices at Vijayawada, Guntur & Hyderabad.

2. Indian Bank Branches:
 Applications can also be obtained from Indian Bank branches throughout the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

3. Download
The application form can be downloaded from the university website. The duly filled application along with the DD for Rs. 1200/- drawn in favor of Vignan University, payable at Guntur should be sent to Dean-Admissions: Vignan’s Deemed to be University, Vadlamudi, Guntur - 522 213 (A.P), so as to reach before the last date. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of DD.

4. Apply-online
Candidates can also apply online from the University website: www.vignan.ac.in/through h net banking/credit card/debit card and there is no need to send a copy of the application form by the applicant.

VSAT 2020 Counseling

  • The date/time of counseling will be informed to the candidates either by post or through SMS or E-Mail and will also be displayed on the official website.
  • If a candidate fails to appear personally for counseling on the date and time specified, he/she will forfeit his candidature for the allotment of the seat on that day. However, he/she is eligible to appear for subsequent counseling depending on the availability of seats.
  • The candidates need to provide the required documents in order to get admission.

  • VSAT 2020 admit card
  • 10th and 12th mark sheets
  • Photo id proof
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

VSAT 2020 Result

The result for VSAT 2020 will be declared during the 1st week of MAY 2020. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the examination.

Steps to check the result:

  • Go to the official website of Vignan University
  • Click on the result link
  • Submit the required details
  • Your VSAT 2019 result and scorecard will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and take a print out for future use

VSAT 2020 Answer Key

The answer key for VSAT 2020 will be released after the exam is conducted on the official website of the university. The answer key will contain the answers to all the questions asked in the exam. Candidates can compare their attempted answers to those in the answer key and get a brief idea about their results.
In case of any problem regarding the answer key, the candidates can register a complaint through e-mail. The revised answer key will be published a few days later.

VSAT 2020 Eligibility

  • Candidates born on or after 1st July 1999 and a pass in Intermediate or its equivalent with minimum CGPA of 7.0 in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% aggregate marks in Telangana State are eligible to appear for the admission test.
  • Candidates qualified in AP or TS EAMCET / JEE(Mains) / JEE(Advanced) with a minimum of CGPA of 7.0 in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% aggregate marks in Telangana State in the +2/ Intermediate Examination.

A:  No, there is no negative marking involved in VSAT 2020.

Q:  How can I download the admit card?
A:  Candidates can get their admit card through courier as well as download from the official website. Steps to download are:

  • Visit the official website of Vignan's University.
  • Click the Admit card link.
  • Enter Name and Registration Number 
  • Admit card is displayed on the screen
  • Download and take a print out of the admit card

Q:  What are the release and closing dates of the VSAT 2020 application form?
A:  The application form for VSAT 2020 will be available from 1st October 2019 and the last date to submit the application form is 5th April 2020.

Q:  Is there any relaxation in the application fee for reserved category candidates?
A:  No, the application fee for every category candidate is the same i.e. Rs. 1200.

Q:  Can I change the exam centre and time for VSAT?
A: No, the test centre, once allotted to the candidates, cannot be changed under any circumstances by the candidate.

Q:  Is mathematics in 12th mandatory to appear for VSAT 2020?
A:  No, a candidate can choose either from mathematics or biology for the exam paper of VSAT 2020.

Q:  What is the time duration for VSAT 2020?
A:  The VSAT 2020 time duration is 2.5 hours or 150 minutes.
