TMISAT 2020 (Tolani Maritime Institute Science Aptitude Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI). The exam is organized to offer admissions to its B. Tech programs in Marine Engineering and B.Sc. in Nautical Technology. The application form of TMISAT 2020 is available online on the official website. Candidates who wish to pursue B.Tech Marine Engineering, B.Sc. Nautical Science and Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) can apply for TMISAT 2020 exam. The last date for filling TMISAT application forms to appear in the exam at Induri is 31 August 2020.

This entrance exam is designed to assess the candidates on the following criteria: 

  • reasoning skills, 
  • solving skills, 
  • general knowledge, 
  • personality traits, and more. 

The merit list of TMISAT 2020 will be prepared based on the scores secured by the candidates. The TMISAT 2020 shortlisted candidates will have to report for the counseling procedure and in order to be eligible to get the admission, the candidates have to be physically/medically fit.

It offers admissions to Lateral Entry into B.Tech. Marine engineering (2nd year) program is also offered by the TMI. Candidates have to clear the IMU CET examination to get admission to TMI. Candidates appearing for TMISAT 2020 need to have appeared for IMUSAT 2020, as it is affiliated to IMU.

TMISAT 2020 Latest Updates:

The examination has been postponed until further notice due to COVID-19. The application forms for TMISAT 2020 is available up to September 2, 2020, for both national centers and the Induri center.  On the basis of PCM marks and IMU-CET 2020 ranks, students will be shortlisted and will be called for the online test.

TMISAT 2020 admit card consists of the details like name of the candidate, address of the exam center, roll number, time slot, exam date, and exam time. Applicants must bring their admit card because, without it, the candidates cannot appear the examination.

Steps to download the TIMSAT 2020 entrance exam admit card:

  • TMISAT 2020 Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website.
  • Applicants will need to log in using their username and password.
  • Then there will be the admit card displayed on the screen.
  • Applicants will need to check the admit card for any errors. If no errors are there, then candidates have to download the admit card for further use.

TMISAT 2020 Exam Pattern:

Students need to go through the exam pattern of TMISAT 2020 so that the candidates have a good knowledge of the pattern in which questions will be asked. This entrance exam will test the students on reasoning skills, solving skills, general knowledge, language skills, aptitude, and personality traits. It is very much crucial for the candidates to check the TMISAT 2020 Exam Pattern to prepare accordingly and score better marks.

TMISAT 2020 Cut off :

The required cut off will be officially declared by the Tolani Institute through online mode only. After the result is declared, it is followed by the cut off list. For TMISAT 2020, the cut off list will be out soon. 

  • The candidate needs to appear for the IMU-CET exam for qualifying TMI. 
  • If your mark in TMISAT 2020 is in 40s then you have to wait for some time for getting the offer letter.
  • For BTME – 50 + marks and for nautical it is 40+ marks in TMISAT. This trend is believed to continue for 2020.

The application form of TMISAT 2020 has been released and it is available on its official website. If a candidate wants to appear for TMISAT at National centers then he/she should apply before 31 July 2020. Mentioned below is the information about the TMISAT Registration 2020:

  • Applicants can apply for the TMISAT exam through online mode.
  • Candidates have to fill the necessary information asked in the application form along with the preferred venue.
  • Also, they have to pay the application test fees i.e. INR 1200 either through online mode by any payment gateway using Credit/ Debit card/ Internet Banking or through offline mode via DD or Pay Order.

TMISAT 2020 Counseling :

  • All the qualified candidates will be called to attend the offline counseling process of TMISAT 2020. Candidates will be required to report at the venue as per the date and time allotted to them in their call letters. 
  • A panel of maritime professionals and educators interviews the shortlisted applicants in order to check leadership potential, communication skills, clarity of thought, maturity, and reasoning abilities of candidates.
  • In the counselling, there will be the document verification followed by the medical test by the DGS and TMI approved doctor. 
  • Extracurricular achievements of the applicants are also given weightage by the panel.
  • Seats will be allotted to the candidates who meet the cutoff marks and are medically fit. 
  • The candidates who are qualifiedneed to pay the required fees if they want to confirm their admission in the institute.

TMISAT 2020 Result:

  • The result cum merit list of TMISAT 2020 will be announced by Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI). 
  • Result for TMISAT 2020 releases immediately after completing the aptitude test and candidates will be able to check their merit list from the online portal by logging in their account using username and password. 
  • The list of shortlisted candidates displayed will be required to report at the counseling venue to complete their admission formalities. The merit list will be based on the scores secured by the candidates.
  • The qualified candidates of the aptitude test are required to then appear for the interview conducted on the same day of the aptitude test.
