Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed-to-be-University) conducts B-MAT (Management Aptitude Test) for admission to postgraduate management courses (MBA) at the varsity as well as constituent institutes. Usually, Bharati Vidyapeeth conducts B-MAT in the month of March every year. Some of the top MBA colleges in India also consider the B-MAT score for the admission to MBA course apart from Bharati Vidyapeeth. It is mandatory to clear the B-MAT exam to secure admission in the MBA course in these institutes.

B-MAT 2020 Admit Card

The admit card for B-MAT 2020 will be released during the last week of March 2020. Candidates can download their respective B-MAT 2020 admit cards by using their login IDs and password on the official website. The admit card is also sent through post to the candidates whose application was accepted by the authorities. 

Steps to download the admit card:

  3. Enter your login credentials and your admit card will be displayed
  4. Download and take a print out of the admit card

BMAT 2020 Syllabus

The B-MAT 2020 syllabus consists of seven sections. Syllabus for each section is mentioned below:

Section 1. Current Affairs:

General Knowledge, History, Geography, Current Affairs, National and International happenings in the world of politics, business, trade and economy, governance, sports, personalities and awards, books, etc.

Section 2. Mathematics:

Number Systems, Algebra, Coordinate Geometry, Geometry, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Statistics & Probability

Section 3. Quantitative Ability:

Median, Installments and Payments, Partnership, Clocks, Work and Time, Pipe and Cisterns, Lines, Cubes and Cones, Work and Time, Time, Speed, Distance, Partnership, Mode, BODMAS, etc.

Section 4. Abstract and Logical Reasoning:

Table, Bars, Pie-Charts, Line Graphs, Blood Relations, Puzzles, Arrangements, Data Structures, Series, Coding-Decoding, Clocks and Calendars, Direction.

Section 5. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension:

English Grammar, passages, fill in the blanks, word meaning, word usage, vocabulary, synonyms, etc.

Section 6. Computer awareness: 

Basic computer knowledge

Section 7. Management skills:

Soft Skills, Marketing Associate, Human Resource Associate, Finance associate, etc.


B-MAT 2020 Exam Pattern

  1. Bharati Vidyapeeth will conduct B-MAT 2020 entrance test for 250 marks.
  2. The entrance test is a complication of three areas Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
  3. The written test will be conducted for 200 marks while Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be conducted for 50 marks.
  4. The duration of the written test is 2 ½ hours. The mode of B-MAT 2020 will be pen and paper-based.

BMAT 2020 Exam Cut-Off

BMAT does not really have a fixed cut-off for the exam. The authorities at Bharati Vidyapeeth declare the cut-off only after the release of the merit list. The decision is mostly based on the no of candidates applied, highest mark scored including the group discussion and Personal Interview. For convenience, a candidate should secure at least the minimum mark to have a chance at the exam.


BMAT 2020 Application Form

The application form for B-MAT 2020 will be available during the 1st week of February 2020. Candidates need to apply for B-MAT 2020 before the last week of March 2020 through the official website also through offline mode.

Online Mode
  1. Go to the official website of Bharati Vidyapeeth University
  2. Register providing the necessary details
  3. Your login credentials will be sent to your email id
  4. Re-login using those credentials to fill the application form
  5. Fill all the required fields present in the application form
  6. Pay the application fee through debit card/ credit card/ net banking
  7. After successful payment of Rs. 1500 and take a printout of the form for future use

  2. Fill all the necessary areas

BMAT 2020 Counselling 

BMAT counseling sessions start soon after the declaration of the result. The shortlisted candidates are called by the institutions to take part in the counseling process.

Here is the detailed list of the required documents:

    2. Migration certificate of the pass-out university
    3. Character certificate of the candidate issued by the last college authority

    BMAT 2020 Exam Result

    Usually, the result of the BMAT entrance exam releases as the form of merit list. The list is based on the wholesome performance of the candidates in written test, GD and personal interview. The result always gets declared on the official website of Bharati Vidyapeeth. However, the admission process follows as per the ranking on the merit list.

    B-MAT Exam Answer Key

    As the written entrance test, Personal Interview, & the group discussion occurs at the same moment, the B-MAT exam answer key does not really come out. If by any means, the answer key gets released by the authorities, students can always check the result on the official website of the university and accumulate their scores & performance.

    BMAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria

    1. The applicants must be Indian nationals/ citizens of India. There are no state-level domicile rules for B-MAT 2020.
    2. Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in any discipline with at least 50% (for general category)/ 45% (for SC/ST categories) are eligible to appear for B-MAT 2020. Candidates pursuing a final-year Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree course are also eligible to appear for B-MAT 2020.
    3.  Other Requirements: The candidates who have pursued their graduation in any medium other than English will have to complete an orientation course in English provided by the Institutes satisfactorily.
