Xavier General Management Aptitude Test(XGMT), conducted by Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB) is held to provide admission to various MBA programs in XIMB. After getting shortlisted in XGMT, they will be eligible for the Writing Ability Test(WAT), Personal Interview(PI), and Group Discussion(GD).
Xavier University provides postgraduate management programs in Business Management (MBA-BM), International Masters program, Executive MBA in Business Management, Business Analytics for professional executives and self-employed individuals.

Xavier University has declared the Admission process of MBA 2021. The online Application Form for XGMAT 2021 Exam is available in online mode on XUB official site. Interested candidates can go through the official website and complete the admission process of MBA 2021. The last date of registration is 9th December 2020. XUB conducts the admission process for these MBA programs. These are MBA-BM, MBA-HRM, MBA-RM, MBA-SM, MBA-UGM, Executive MBA, and MBF.

Xavier General Management Aptitude Test (XGMT) is an entrance exam for admission to various MBA and MBF programs of Xavier University, Bhubaneswar. Before applying for XGMAT a candidate should know about the important dates of the XGMT 2021 entrance test. The registration of XGMT has closed on December 9, 2020. Moreover, the XGMT exam will be held on January 31, 2021. It is important to know the exam pattern to have a brief idea of the examination.

XGMT 2021 Admit Card

The admit card of the XGMT  exam is released by XUB on its official website after the end of the registration process on the due date. Th admit card is released in the month of January. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam can download XGMT admit card 2021 by logging on to the official website with ID and password. The admit card will not be sent to candidates by courier or any other mode.

Documents to be carried to the exam hall

Candidates should carry the necessary documents to the examination hall without which they will not be allowed to appear the examination.
1. A Color Printout of the Admit Card
2. A Valid ID Proof such as Voter ID/Passport/PAN Card/Driving License/Aadhar Card 
No electronics are allowed to the examination Hall.

XGMT Exam Day Guidelines:

1. Print the Admit card on an A4-size paper, preferably using a Laser Printer - Admit Card is valid only if the Candidate's photograph and signature images are legibly printed. A colour printout is mandatory.
2. Make necessary arrangements for travel, food, accommodation (if any) and any other expenses (including those on account of medical emergencies).
3. Before leaving for the Test Centre, Candidates are requested to verify and carry their original ID proof and the printed  Admit card.
4. Use the Google map link embedded in the electronic version of the Admit card to locate the Test Centre. Identify the mode of transport and commute time at least a day before the Exam Day in order to reach the Test Centre on time on the day of the Exam.
5. Report at the Test center on the time mentioned in the admit card
6. Cooperate with Test Center staff during document Verification and Frisking.
7. Use the Reference Number printed on the Admit Card, to check the location of Exam Lab from the List displayed on the Notice Board at the Test Centre.
8. Return Writing Pad with all pages intact and Pen post completion of the Exam to the Invigilator.
9. Ask for any help required in the course of the Exam from Test Centre Invigilator present in the Exam Lab.
After the examinations, the results will be declared by the conducting authority within a few days on the official website. The candidate will be selected on a merit basis which is based on the cutoffs decided by various institutions for admission into their programs.

XGMT 2021 Syllabus:

Understanding the syllabus is the first step to start preparations.  A comprehensive idea about the syllabus will help in not missing out on any important topics asked in the examination. Besides the syllabus, giving ample mock tests helps in analyzing your strong and weak topics so that you can be well acquainted with the type of questions and exam pattern. XGMT 2021 Exam Pattern

XUB releases the exam pattern every year in its notification. Candidates should check the pattern before preparation and devise a strategy to ace the exam. The exam consists of 4 sections which are Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning ( VA and LR), Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Data Interpretation (DI) and Emotional Quotient and General Awareness (EQ and GA). XGMT 2020 is conducted in two shifts i.e in the morning and evening. The exam is conducted only online. The XGMT 2021 to be held on January 31, 2021.

XGMT 2021 Paper Pattern

Below is the section-wise breakup of the total number of questions asked in the examination.  A total of 110 questions is to be completed in 2 hours. The four sections during the test will appear in random sequence and there will be sectional time limits of 30-45 minutes, which means a candidate must complete a section in a given time. If a candidate finishes any section early, (s)he must wait for the next section to begin and can’t go back to a completed section.

XGMT 2021 Marking Scheme

The exam consists of negative marking and no marks are deducted for unanswered questions. Candidates are awarded +3 marks for every correct answer and -1 is deducted for every wrong answer.

XGMT 2021 Cut-Off

The XGMT 2021  cutoff is announced by Xavier University, Bhubaneswar on its official website after the result is declared. Shortlisted candidates will be able to take part in the group discussion(GD), personal interview(PI), and written ability test(WAT). The cut-off released will contain both overall and sectional cut-off. The cut off for XGMT is affected by various factors, such as:

3. The difficulty level of the exam

XGMT 2021 Application Form

The application form for XGMT 2021 has been released on 26th November 2020 on the official website of XUB. The last date for filing the application is December 9, 2021.  There is no offline mode of applying to the exam. Before applying the XGMT exam the candidate needs to fulfill the eligibility criteria.

How to apply to XGMT?

1. Go to the official website of XUB
2. Register yourself by providing the necessary details like  Name, Date of Birth, Email, Mobile Number, Gender, age, etc
3. Your login credentials will be sent to your registered email address.
4. Use those credentials to open the window for the online application form.
5. Fill all the necessary details required such as personal details, academic details, etc
6. Upload photo and signature with specifications mentioned

7. Pay the application fee through SBI challan or via online payment.
8. Check every detail and then click on the submit button.

XGMT 2021 Counseling

The Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar will conduct the counseling procedure for the candidates and those applicants are shortlisted in the merit list. The shortlisted candidate can schedule their counseling process on the official website. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the written ability test (WAT), personal interview(PI), and group discussion(GD). The admission will be done on the basis of the XGMT score and performance in WAT, PI, and GD. 
WAT, GD & PI will be held in Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai

The WAT Round & GD Round
In the WAT round, the candidate will be given around 1-2 mins to think about the topic asked. The GD and WAT round lasts approximately 8-10 minutes. The candidates are evaluated on various parameters such as body language, attitude, communication skills, etc. The GD and WAT topic is usually the same.

The Interview
This is the most crucial part of the selection procedure. The aspirant’s overall personality and confidence will be evaluated. Students must confidently answer questions related to their own academic area and work experience. Usually, there are 3-4 Panelists who take the interview and this round lasts about 15-20 minutes.

XGMT 2021 Result

The result for XGMT 2021 will be declared on 4th February 2021(Tentatively) at the official website of XUB. XGMT 2021 Answer Key

The answer key for XGMT 2021 will not be released by the conducting authority on the official website after the commencement of the exam.

XGMT 2021 Eligibility:

The minimum requirement for admission to the Program is a three-year Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates who expect to complete the final part of their degree examinations by June 15, 2021, can also apply. Offers of admission to such candidates, if made, will be provisional and will be automatically cancelled in the event of their failure to complete all the requirements for obtaining the degree before June 15, 2021.

Applicants are required to take any one of the Admission Tests:

a) XAT
b) CAT 
c) GMAT taken in 2018 or 2019, or
d) X-GMT to be conducted by Xavier University, Bhubaneswar 
Applicants opting for XAT/CAT have to follow XAT/CAT advertisements respectively and apply in time. Registering for XAT/CAT/GMAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIMB, if not opting for X-GMT.If you have secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in university/ college/ institute level and fulfill other eligibility criteria, in such a case you can apply for MBA-RM and MBA-UMG without the need of appearing for CAT/ XAT/NMAT/ XGMT

A:  No, there is no upper limit to apply for XGMT.

A:  Yes, in the application form you will have to choose the academic programs under different admission test options category in the academic program details section of the application form. You can also apply for one program through different tests such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, etc.
