The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board will soon announce its management examination widely known as MPMET (Madhya Pradesh Management Entrance Test) for the year 2020. The candidates who qualify this exam will get admissions into the various AICTE approved government and private MBA colleges across the state of Madhya Pradesh. The interested candidates will have to apply for this examination online.

 MP MET 2020 Exam Centres

Exam centers for MP MET 2020 are spread across Madhya Pradesh so that all candidates are able to write the exam by avoiding long travels. The candidates can are only allowed in their respective exam center which is written on there admit card. According to the instruction on the admit card, On the exam date candidates should be at the exam center 30 minutes prior to the given time on the admit card.

Exam Centers

The candidates can not carry a calculator or any other electronic device into the exam center. The candidates are responsible for their personal belongings.MP MET 2020 will be conducted in various cities across Madhya Pradesh.

MPMET 2020 Admit card:

1- The admit card of MPMET 2020 is expected to be released on eek before exam which is going to be conducted on June 2020.
2- The candidates can download the admit card by logging in to its official site by using their registration number and date of birth.
3- The admit card consists of the name of the candidate, their hall number, roll number, address of the exam center, date and timing of the exam with exam guidelines etc.
4- Without the admit card, no candidate is allowed to the exam hall.
5- The candidates should keep the admit card as it is also needed at the time of counselling.

2- Enter your application/registration number and date of birth
3- Click on ‘Submit’
4- A new page will open with the Admit Card of MPMET 2020 on the display screen.
5- Check if there any mistake.
6- Then click on ‘Download’ tab.
7- Take a print out of the MPMET 2020 Admit Card for future use.

Exam Pattern:

1- The entrance test will be held offline, i.e., pen and paper-based.
2- The total duration of the exam will be 165 minutes.
3- The total number of questions will be 200.
4- There will be 3 marks for every correct answer.
5- There is no negative marking for the incorrect answer.

The paper is divided into the following five sections:

MPMET 2020 cut off:

The candidates will get a chance to get admission into MPMET 2020 if they secure marks that is equal to or more than the decided cut off marks. The cut-off mark also depends on the level of questions, the number of candidates participated in the exam, availability of seats and the previous year cut off too.

MP MET 2020 Application Form

The application form of MPMET 2020 starts in February 2020. The candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria can apply for the entrance exam.

Here is the procedure to fill up the application form-

MP MET 2020 Application Form will be available from February 2020. Candidate can visit the official website of MP MET. It is advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying to MP MET 2020. Candidates need to submit the filled MET 2020 Application Form along with the scanned passport size photograph, signature, and attached documents.
Caste Proof: Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste(SC), Scheduled Tribe(ST), Other Backward Classes(OBC) categories also need to submit their category proof form duly signed by the required officers as mentioned in the application form. Carefully go through every clause before submitting the MP MET application form to avoid any discrepancy or cancellation later on.
Acknowledgment Slip: When the Application Form is submitted, an acknowledgment slip is issued to the candidate which ensures successful submission and verification of MP MET 2020 Application form.

Useful Instructions Regarding MP MET Application Form

1- While filling the application form, make sure you enter correct information about yourself.
2- Do not leave any field marked mandatory, empty.
3- Incomplete forms will be rejected.
4- Upload a scanned recent passport size photo and scanned signature along with the form.
5- Check the form thoroughly for errors before hitting the ‘submit’ button.
6- Once submitted, the form cannot be edited.
7- The candidates must keep a copy of the duly filled application form and payment acknowledgment slip with them.

MP MET 2020 Application Form Fill-up Steps:

Step 1: Fill-up Application Form

1- Fill-up required details on the online Application Form. Since your eligibility will be screened based on the information filled by you so it is recommended to submit the relevant information.
2- While filling the Application Form online, save the information by clicking the button “SAVE”.
3- In case you wish to edit some information in the Application Form of MP MET 2020 you can do that by logging in again by using Email-Address and Date of birth and after re-entering the correct information, the candidate needs to save the information by clicking to “SAVE” button.

Step 2: Upload Documents:

Upload Photo:

1- The photo must be a recent passport size. Make sure that the photo is in color, taken against a light-colored, preferably white background, and has no harsh shadow.
2- For the candidate who is wearing glasses make sure that your eyes can be visible and there are no reflections. Also, make sure that both ears are visible in the photograph. Candidates are advised not to wear the cap, hat, and dark glasses while the time of the photograph. Religious headwear is allowed but the candidate makes sure that it must not cover the face.
3- The photograph should be in .jpg or .jpeg format only. The photograph size should not be increased more than 50kb and not be decreased less than 5kb. 

Upload Signature:

1- The candidate should sign on white paper with the Black ink pen and scan it. Candidates are advised to scan the signature area only. The entire page is not required to scan.
2- Please note that this signature would appear on the Admit Card, and if it does not match the signature on the answer sheet at the time of the written test and at the time of the interview, the candidature will be canceled.
3- The signature scan should be in .jpg or .jpeg format only. The signature scan size should not be increased more than 50kb and not be decreased less than 5kb.

Step 3: Payment

Pay Registration fee: The applicants are required to pay a fee of INR 1,300/- (inclusive of GST) and an additional Rs 50 will be charged as online service charges.
Fees payment can be done through any one of the three following modes:

1- Online Payment: Online via Credit Card/ Debit Card (ATM Card)/ Internet Banking payment.
2- Demand Draft: Candidate needs to submit the Demand Draft of INR 1300/-.
3- Demand Draft will be in favor of the "Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board". Then-candidate can register online along with the DD details.

Step 4: Print-out Of Application Form:
Candidate can take the print-out of the Application Form for future references.

MP MET 2020 Application Fee:

The important information related to the application fee mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

1- The application fees for the general category is Rs 1300/- for the admission procedure.
2- The application fee for the SC/ST and handicapped category is Rs 650/-for the admission procedure.
3- Applicants need to pay the application fee by payment gateway method in online mode only.

MPMET 2020 Counselling:

After the release of the result, qualified candidates have to appear for the counseling session with the required documents. The allotment of the seats will be done according to the merits and no of applicants in the entrance test. The document verification, confirmation of application will be held after date is announced.

The important information related to the counseling session is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

1- After the successful declaration of the results, official authorities will be responsible to prepare a merit list of the applicants.
2- However, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks secured by the applicants in the entrance exam.
3- And so the merit list will contain the names of the nominated applicants who have scored well in the entrance exam.
4- But for the reference of the applicants, official authorities will update the merit list on the official website of the university.
5- So applicants are instructed to check the merit list on the official website in order to get admission in the institution.
6- On the basis of the merit list applicants have to appear for the counseling session conducted by the authority.
7- The official authority will provide admission to those applicants who have successfully cleared the document verification process and counseling rounds.

5- Migration certificate (from the last institution attended)

MPMET 2020 Result:

Results for MP MET 2020 will be announced online on June 28, 2020. Candidates can check their results on the official website of Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) also known as Vyavsayik Parrish. The candidates can check the answer keys on the official website after the exam and can demand any changes if there is an error in them. The information present on the admit card is essential and needs to be preserved for future use as well as at the time of the result. After the results are announced the candidates have to take the print out of the results and can go for the counseling process.

MP MET 2020 Results

Follow the steps given below to check your MP MET 2020 results from the official website
1- Visit the official website of MP MET.
2- Enter your MP MET Roll Number, Form Number and month of test, click on the submit button. Download the scorecard and keep it till the admission process is over.

Results Details:

Availability: After MP MET 2020 gets over, the results will be announced online on the official website. Candidate can view there result by entering Candidate Roll Number, Candidate Form Number,  Exam Season.
Result Declaration Date: MP MET 2020 Result will be declared on June 28, 2020. Candidates are advised to enter the correct and required details to view there result.
Result/Scorecard: The candidates can check the results online or via SMS. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the result for reference and future use.
Note: No examination scorecard will be sent to the candidates via post.

Stepwise Procedure to Download the MP MET Scorecard

Step 1: Visit the official website of MP MET i.e (
Step 2: Click on the MP MET 2020 Result link.
Step 3: Enter your application/roll number.
Step 4: MP MET 2020 Results will be displayed on the screen
Step5: After that applicants need to download the result from the official website.
Step 6: Candidate can take the printout of the MP MET 2020 scorecard for further reference.

Each scorecard will carry a candidate’s name, roll number, sectional scores, and overall score. The window will be open for a limited period (approximately one month) to download the results. Hence, the candidates must download their scorecards as soon as the results are declared. Requests in this regard will not be entertained after the window is closed.
Information on the MP MET exam is followed by the group discussion round and a personal interview which is the final basis for MBA admissions.
Results/ranking will carry a total weightage of 80% from the MP MET exam, 10% from group discussion and 10% from the personal interview.

Instructions related to MP MET 2020 Results

  • Merit List: Merit list is prepared on the basis of the score obtained by the candidate in the MP MET 2020. The merit list will be updated is after the MP MET 2020 is announced.
  • Result Validity: MP MET 2020 Result and scorecards are valid for one year.

Print-out: Candidates are advised to keep the print-out of their MP MET result and scorecard for further reference during the admission procedure that will follow. Candidates are required to submit their MP MET scorecards while applying for admission to various B-schools.

MPMET 2020 Answer key:

The provisional answer key for MPMET 2020 will be released by the exam conducting authorities tentatively in the last week of June 2020. Students can access the answer key after the release from the official website. They can evaluate their answers as per the answer key and expect a probable mark and rank in the entrance test.

Eligibility Criteria for MPMET 2020:

For a candidate to apply for any exam he/she should be eligible. The exams have different eligibility criteria that have to be followed by each and every candidate. Without being eligible the potential candidate cannot even apply for the exam. But there is certain relaxation for candidates belonging to different categories.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates applying for MP MET should be eligible for the exam. The candidates belonging to reserved categories enjoy relaxations for age, qualification marks and also reserved seats during the counseling process. Candidates who wish to appear for MP MET 2020 will have to check the eligibility criteria to know about it. Eligible candidates can start preparing for the exam going through Syllabus. Eligibility Criteria for MP MET 2020 exam is listed below:

1- Applicants who wish to appear for MP MET 2020 must be a graduate in any respective field.
2- The candidate should have graduation of 3+ years. 
3- For applicants to be eligible for MP MET 2020 they should have scored at least 50% aggregate in the degree.
4- 45% for ST, SC, OBC category of Madhya Pradesh and 40% for physically disabled.
5- There is no specific age limit to take up the MP MET 2020 examination.
6- The Bachelor's degree must of minimum three years duration after passing the 10th and 12th.
7- Candidates who will be unable to match the MP MET eligibility criteria will not be permitted to take up the MP MET 2020 Examination.
8- There is a concession of marks for physically handicapped candidates as well as those who hold diplomas.
