Q: What is the examination mode of CLAT 2022?
A: The Common Law Admission Test mode is way back to an offline pattern after being administered online for the last four years. CLAT 2022 will be a paper-pen based test administered by CLAT Consortium.
Q: Has CLAT eligibility criteria changed?
A: Yes, the CLAT eligibility criteria had been changed two years back. According to the revised eligibility criteria, candidates irrespective of their age limit can apply for the NLUs admission test. Earlier, the Bar Council of India (BCI) had put an age bar, following which candidates attaining an age of 20 years or less as on the date of admission year, could only apply for the national-level law entrance exam for undergraduate programmes and those belonging to SC, ST, Other Backward Classes, and Specially-Abled Persons (SAP) were given an upper age relaxation of 2 years, i.e., 22 years of age as on the same date for being considered eligible for CLAT.
Q: What will be the medium of online CLAT?
A: CLAT 2022 will be held in English medium only.
Q: How can I practice for offline CLAT?
A: Candidates can take mock tests and also solve CLAT as they will help in practising for the offline CLAT. The sample papers and well as mock tests will prove quite helpful because they provide a look and feel of the format of the actual Common Law Admission Test.
Q: Is the application is non-refundable?
A: The application fee is non-refundable.
Q: Can we deposit the fee offline?
A: We can deposit the application fee through offline mode by Bank challan.
Q: Can we deposit the application form by post?
A: The application form will be deposited by online mode only. Submission of application form through other medium is not acceptable.
Q: What are the minimum eligible marks for the enrollment process?
A: The student should have scored a minimum 45% (General ) and 40% (Reserved category) in 12th.
Q: Will be exam be in pen and paper mode?
A: Yes the exam will be held in pen and paper i.e. Offline mode.
Q: Is there any negative marking in this examination?
A: Yes there is a negative marking of 0.25 for every incorrect answer.
