Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur is one of the prestigious universities of India and engaged in the process of initiating new measures to achieve excellence in academic standards. The university is taking active interests to improve quality of teaching and research. As we know "A University is more than a technical school. It should be a place for providing a student with opportunity for all round well proportioned education for effective living and good citizenship." But in current scenario it is possible only when you get a respectable job. Also, it is an ultimate objective of every student as well. Hence, there is a need to train and prepare the students for different career and assists to find good jobs. Considering the present scenario, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur has established a University Placement Cell (UPC) in year 2009 at the university campus. The motto of Placement Cell is to provide the job placement facility to its students, not only to the students of university campus but to the students of all affiliated colleges of CSJM University. From the last 2 years the placement cell is organizing various programs like career counseling, personal development, entrepreneurship development program and placement drives at the university campus to train the students up to the current industry level so that they can have a good placement opportunity for a bright future. Placement Cell is established in CSJM University campus. University Placement Cell having Group discussion rooms, Interview rooms, Video Conferencing rooms, Industry Interface rooms etc. with a placement cell office

The university has separate boys and girls Residential rooms with all facilities. Its is like a home away from home. it ensures comfort of the students in healthy, friendly and Hygienic atmosphere.
