Study techniques for SLAT students

By Editorial

Like the CLAT, LSAT examinations, The Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) is also going to be held this year. But there have been some changes due to the coronavirus pandemic. This year, the SLAT examination is going to be held online. Candidates appearing for the examination must also be aware of the entrance pattern that has been changed a bit.

So looking at the current situation, the SLAT toppers from last year have provided some tips for the students appearing for the examination this year. With the change in the examination pattern, the highest rank holders have shared some of their experience and tips that would guide the candidates to score better this year.

One of the SLAT toppers, Siddharth Sisodhiya has shared his ideas. He had scored 133 marks out of 150 and was the 1st rank holder in SLAT the previous year. According to him:

  • Candidates should keep practicing for the examinations with the mock tests and materials provided by the institutes or coaching classes.
  • Reading and writing speed needs to practice more and more.
  • Candidates should create a preparation strategy according to their strengths and weaknesses to study better.
  • Learn time management
  • Revised the same topic over and over again to remember better
