TS LAWCET 2021 Admit Card
Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will release the admit card of TS Law Common Entrance Test (LAWCET) 2021 on 9th August 2021. TSLAWCET 2021 Hall Tickets will be issued only to those candidates who have submitted the application form successfully before the last date. The admit card or hall ticket for TS LAWCET 2021 is an essential document without which no candidates will be allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of TSCHE only. The candidates have to download the admit card by login using their credential i.e. registration number, date of birth and qualifying exam hall ticket number. Note: Candidates must note that the exam conducting authority, Osmania University, Hyderabad will not send the admit cards by post.

- Go to the official website of TSCHE
- Click on "Download Hall Ticket"
- On the hall ticket login window, enter your registration number for TS LAWCET, date of birth (in Day/Month/Year format) and qualifying exam hall ticket number i.e. Class 12th hall ticket number for five-year integrated LLB course and Degree hall ticket as registered for three-year LLB course
- Click on the Hall Ticket download option.
- The admit card will appear on the screen
- Download and take a print out of the admit card for future use

The admit card is an important document because it mentions necessary information related to candidates and exam centre as under:

2- Photograph and signature of the candidate

Instructions on TS LAWCET Admit Card 2021
There are certain rules and regulations defined by Osmania University. The instructions are printed on the back of TS LAWCET Admit Card in English and Telugu. They are as follows:
- Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the test without the admit card of TS LAWCET.
- A printout of TS LAWCET Admit Card should be taken out on an A4 size paper only.
- Candidate must not damage the information given on the e-Admit card of TS LAWCET 2021.
- Hall ticket of TS LAWCET is a non-transferable document. Any tampering of the document will automatically result in disqualification of candidature.
- Candidates should preserve the card until the time of counselling/admission.
- Read the instructions before starting the computer-based test
- TS LAWCET Question Paper will consist a total of 120 Multiple Choice Questions. MCQs from 3 different sections (subject wise) with 4 responses will be given. Out of 4 responses, only 1 response is correct.
- Candidates are required to answer all the questions. All questions carry equal marks. There is no negative mark for an incorrect answer.

TS LAWCET Exam Centers 2021
TS LAWCET 2021 will be organized at around 12 regional centers in the state of Telangana and 4 regional centers in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates have to fill their preference of exam center during TS LAWCET application submission. However, it depends on the conducting authority to allocate the test centers to the candidates.
Note: While filling the application form, regional Centers will be displayed based on the availability and once it has reached the maximum capacity then the center will not be displayed in application form
Items Barred at TS LAWCET Exam Center
- Any electronic material such as watch, microphone, Bluetooth, earphone, mobile, health band, calculator, pager and pieces/bits of paper, pencil box etc. is not allowed inside the exam hall.
- It is recommended to wear open footwear not closed shoes.
- Candidates are also advised not to put mehendi or any cosmetic color on their hands as it may cause an error while doing digital fingerprint scan recording on the exam day.
- They cannot sit for the exam unless they clear the fingerprint scanning.
Documents Required at the Exam Center:
- Candidates applying under reserved categories have to carry the original copy of their Caste/Disability certificate on the day of the exam.
- Those who have changed their names with due procedure should also carry their respective document.
- Bring an original and Xerox copy of a valid photo ID proof along with TS LAWCET Admit Card.
Any of the following below mentioned documents will serve as an Identity proof to appear for TS LAWCET Exam:

TS LAWCET 2021 Syllabus
The candidates who are interested to study law , the entrance is designed to evaluate their ability and aptitude. Here si the syllabus released officially by TSCHE. This year the test has three parts. The duration of exam is 90 minutes and total number of questions is 120. The maximum marks are 120.
Part – A: Consists of 30 questions carrying 30 marks: General Knowledge and Mental Ability.
Part – B: Consists of 30 questions carrying 30 marks: Current Affairs.
Part – C: Consists of 60 questions carrying 60 marks: Aptitude for the Study of Law.
For 5 year Law Course, the standard expected is of Intermediate level/10+2 and for 3 year Law Course, the standard expected is of Degree Level.
The questions in Part-C, Aptitude for the study of Law, elementary knowledge of the basic principles of Law and Constitution of India, on the Part of the Student is assumed.
The Questions will be objective type including multiple choices questions, matching items. Each question contains four alternative answers numbered as 1, 2, 3 and 4. Candidates have to exercise their choice in answering the question.

TS LAWCET 2021 Exam Pattern
Telangana State Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test 2021 will be conducted on August 23rd, 2021. Before appearing for the exam, candidates should know the basic features of the exam such as subjects, type of questions, marking scheme and other details. Therefore, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) releases TS LAWCET 2021 exam pattern mentioning all details of the TS LAWCET exam pattern along with the notification. The law entrance exam will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at the designated test centers of TSLAWCET 2021. TS LAWCET 2021 Marking Scheme:
Since the questions are of objective type, the marking scheme is as under:
- One mark will be awarded for each correct response by candidates
- There is no negative marking in case of wrong attempts by candidates
- Moreover, no marks will be awarded or deducted in case candidates leave the questions unattempted
Mode of TS LAWCET Exam:
The law entrance examination will be a Computer Based Test. Each candidate will be appointed a computer at TS LAWCET Exam Center only. It is suggested that each test taker must practice through ‘Online Test Series’ only
The examination tests the following abilities of candidates:
- Aptitude for Study of Law
- General Knowledge and Mental Ability and
- Current Affairs
TS LAWCET Duration of Exam
- The duration of the law entrance exam is 1 hour 30 minutes (90 minutes).
- It is mandatory for the applicants to complete the exam in a given period of time.
- No extra time will be allotted to any of the candidates under any circumstances.
- In case of PwD and SAP candidates, an extra 20 minutes will be allotted to complete the examination.
- No sectional time limit is allotted to the sections in the examination.
Type of Questions in TS LAWCET:
- Questions in the law entrance examination are objective type i.e. multiple choice questions.
- There will be four choices to question.
- Candidates have to mark the most appropriate answer.
- There will be a question of an essay too, which is descriptive in nature.
TS LAWCET Medium of Examination
- Telangana Law Common Entrance Test will be administered in English and Telugu medium.
- From this year, candidates can attempt the exam in Urdu as well.
- Applicants can attempt the questions as per there preference.
TS LAWCET 2020 Marking Scheme
- Each question in the exam will carry 1 mark.
- For every correct response, the candidate is awarded 1 mark.
- In case of wrong answer, there is no penalty of a mark.
- For unattempted questions, there is no negative marking.
- In case, a candidate marks two answers to a question, it will be treated as a wrong answer.
Qualifying marks in TS LAWCET
- Candidate must score a minimum of 35% marks to qualify entrance exam, which means that minimum passing marks are 42 out of 120.
- However, no minimum marks have to be attained by candidates belonging to SC/ ST category to qualify the law entrance exam.
Tie Breaker in TS LAWCET
In case of more than one candidate obtaining same marks, the following criteria will be followed:
- Marks in Part C i.e. Aptitude for the Study of Law will be considered
- In case the tie still continues, marks in Part B i.e. Current Affairs will be considered
- If the tie still persists, candidates with same marks will be grouped together for ranking purpose and at the time of admission, higher age might become the decisive factor.
TS LAWCET 2021 Cut-Off
The cut-off for TS LAWCET 2021 will be released after the result is declared. The cutoff is released separately for colleges accepting TS LAWCET scores. The cut-off is different for each category candidates.
- Candidates applying for any of the programs must score a minimum of 42 marks out of 120 marks to be eligible for the merit list.
- There are no criteria for minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST category students.
- For the 3-year LLB program, 21 colleges will accept the scores of the law exam.
- Whereas, for a 5-year integrated law program, 13 law schools will accept the scores of TS LAWCET 2021.
TS LAWCET 2021 Cut off Criteria
Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks will be able to make it into the cut-off list. The minimum qualifying criteria is as under:

TS LAWCET 2021 Rank Allotment Process:
The cutoff marks will indicate the last rank for admission under each category, therefore the cutoff list will be made on the basis of the rank list for TS LAWCET 2021.
Tie-Break:
There may be cases where two or more candidates will get the same rank and in such cases, the tie in ranks will be resolved as under:
- The candidate securing more marks in Part C i.e. Aptitude for study of law will be ranked higher
- If the tie still exists, then the candidate securing more marks in Part B i.e. Current Affairs will be ranked higher
- If even after this, the tie exists then the candidate older in age will be ranked higher
TS LAWCET Cut off: Previous Year Cut Off:
TS LAWCET Cut off remains same every year, it is 35% marks in the entrance examination. However, the cut off for the participating institutes are the opening and closing rank of seat allotment at the counselling process. Given below is the opening and closing cut off score of top colleges:

TS LAWCET 2021 Counseling
The counselling of Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) will be conducted in the first week of October 2021. Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) conducts the counselling in online as well as offline mode. The counselling is conducted on the basis of the rank list which is prepared according to the results of TS LAWCET exam. The counselling will be held separately for the three-year LLB course and the five-year integrated LLB courses. TS LAWCET 2021 counseling will comprise online option entry, choice locking and provisional seat allotment as well as document verification and reporting to the allotted colleges.
