Punjab University conducts the PU LLB exam once every year for admission into 3 year LLB programme offered by the University. Every year this exam is held through offline mode and comprised both subjective type and objective type questions. This time PU LLB will be conducted in the last week of June 2020.
1. PU LLB application form will be available from the last week of April. It will be available in online mode on the official website of Punjab University.
2. PU LLB exam contains 4 sections- English Comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Legal Reasoning.
3. Candidates will be given 1 hour and 3o minutes to complete this exam.
4.Counseling of PU LLB will be held in Offline mode at the Departments of Laws in Punjab University Chandigarh campus.
5.Students will have different PU LLB Cut off scores based on their category.

PU LLB 2020 Admit card:
The admit card of PU LLB 2020 is expected to be released on 1st week of April 2020.
The candidates can download the admit card by logging in to its official site by using their registration number and date of birth.
The admit card consists of the name of the candidate, their hall number, roll number, address of the exam center, date and timing of the exam with exam guidelines etc.
Without the admit card, no candidate is allowed to the exam hall.
The candidates should keep the admit card as it is also needed at the time of counselling.

PU LLB 2020 Cut off:
The candidates will get a chance to get admission into Punjab University if they secure marks that is equal to or more than the decided cut off marks. The cut off mark also depends on the level of questions, the number of candidates participated in the exam, availability of seats and the previous year cut off too. Minimum cut off percentage to clear PU LLB entrance exam will be calculated out of 75 marks.

PU LLB 2020 Application form:
The application form of PU LLB 2020 is expected to be released on the 1st week of April 2020. The candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria can apply for the entrance exam.

Step-3: Uploading of necessary documents.

PU LLB 2020 Application fees:
The application fee for General Category is Rs. 2100 and for SC/ST/PWD is Rs. 1050. The fees will be accepted by Bank Challan mode and once paid it will be non-refundable.
PU LLB 2020 Counselling:
After the release of the result, qualified candidates have to appear for the counselling session with required documents in 1st week of August 2020. The allotment of the seats will be done according to the merits and no of applicants in the entrance test. The process of counselling is expected to be held in 2nd week of May. The document verification, confirmation of application will be held after date is announced.
PU LLB 2020 Result:
The conducting authority of PU LLB 2020 releases the result tentatively in the last week of June 2020 in online mode. The result consists of the section-wise as well as the overall marks of the candidates. The name of the qualified candidates take place in the merit list and they can appear in the counselling process.

PU LLB 2020 Eligibility:
Degree qualification requirement- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an institute recognized by Bar Council of India.
Minimum marks- 45% min in aggregate (05% relaxation for SC/ST/BC/ PwD)
Other requirements– individuals who have UG degree recognized by the Syndicate, through Modern Indian Languages Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi and/or in a Classical Language. Percentage of marks (45%) will be calculated by taking into account the percentage of aggregate marks that the applicant secured in language examination.
