The Mumbai University Common Law Entrance Test (MUCLET 2020) is conducted by the Mumbai University to offer admissions into integrated BA LLB (5 yrs) and LLB (3 years) courses.

MUCLET 2020 schedule:

MUCLET 2020 Admit card:

  • The admit card of MUCLET is generally released in 4th week of March.
  • The candidates can download the admit card online by logging in to its official site by using their registration number and date of birth.
  • The admit card consists of the name of the candidate, their hall number, roll number, address of the exam center, date and timing of the exam with exam guidelines etc.
  • Without the admit card, no candidate is allowed to the exam hall.
  • The candidates should keep the admit card as it is also needed at the time of counselling.

Here is the process to download the admit card-

  • Click on the link of MUCLET 2020 admit Card link.
  • Enter your application/registration number and date of birth
  • Click on ‘Submit’
  • A new page will open with the Admit Card of MUCLET on the display screen.
  • Check if there any mistake.
  • Then click on ‘Download’ tab.
  • Take atleast 2 print outs of the MUCLET 2020 Admit Card for future use.

MUCLET 2020 Syllabus:

General Knowledge-
Constitution, Indian and World Geography, Awards and Honor, Science and technology, Physical Geography, Social Studies, Everyday Science.

Grammar Questions, Prepositions, Choose the Right word, Punctuation, Reading Comprehension, Synonyms, One Word Substitute, Sentence Correction, Antonyms, Fill in the blanks, Error Detection in the written sentences.

Logical Reasoning-
Number and Letter Series, Reasoning Questions, Venn Diagram, Coding and Decoding, Distribution, Calendar.

Mathematical Ability-
Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Data Interpretation, Trigonometry, Decimals, Fractions, Average, Profit and Losses, Partnership, Simplification, HCF and LCM, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage.

MUCLET 2020 Exam Pattern:

The candidates may expect the entrance exam to be held in Offline mode i.e pen and paper-based.  Paper will be in the English language. Candidates may have to attempt a total of 100 MCQs. You will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and no negative marking will be there. The entrance test will include the question from different sections such as General Knowledge with Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, English, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, and Mathematical Aptitude.

MUCLET 2020 Cut off:

The candidates will get a chance to get admission into Mumbai University if they secure marks in MUCLET 2020 that is equal to or more than the decided cut off marks. The cut off mark also depends on the level of questions, the number of candidates participated in the exam, availability of seats and the previous year cut off too.

MUCLET 2020 Application Form: 

  • The application form for MUCLET 2020 generally releases in the last week of May. Here is the process to fill u[p the application form-

  • There is no need to for registration to fill the application form of MUCLET 2020. So direct download the application form.
  • Now fill the details mentioned in the application form such as personal details, academic details and contact details.
  • Pay the application fee.
  • Students have to attach the right documents as required by the Mumbai University and submit the application to the Mumbai University.

Application Fee:

The application fee for general category is Rs 2000 and for other reserved category is Rs 1000.

MUCLET 2020 Counselling:

After the release of the result, qualified candidates have to appear for the counseling session with the required documents. The allotment of the seats will be done according to the merits and no of applicants in the entrance test. The process of counselling is expected to be held in April. The document verification, confirmation of application will be held after date is announced.

MUCLET 2020 Result: 

The conducting authority of MUCLET 2020 releases the result tentatively in the 2nd week of April in online mode. The result consists of the section-wise as well as the overall marks of the candidates. The name of the qualified candidates take place in the merit list and they can appear in the counselling process. 

MUCLET 2020 Answer Key:

The provisional answer key for MUCLET 2020 will be released by the exam conducting authorities tentatively in the  2nd or 3rd week of April. Students can access the answer key after the release from the official website. They can evaluate their answers as per the answer key and expect a probable mark and rank in the entrance test.

MUCLET 2020 Eligibility:

  • Students must have completed 10+2 course from a recognized board of education.
  • Candidates must make sure that they have at least 45 % marks for the General Category Candidates and 40% marks for the SC/SST category candidates.
  • 85% of the seats are reserved for the students belonging to the Maharashtra Domicile.
  • Age should not exceed 20 years as of 1st July 2020 (for unreserved) and 22 yrs. As of 1st July 2020 (for reserved).
