WBJEE 2021 Result:

The result for WBJEE 2021 will be released by the authorities. The candidates can check their result of WBJEE 2021 on the official website. The result will be available in the form of rank/scorecard. To check the result the candidates have to log in to the official website using their login credentials (application no & password).

Steps to Download WBJEE Result:
The following steps will help candidates to check and download their WBJEE 2021 result:

• Step 1: Visit the WBJEE 2021 Official website
• Step 2: Login by entering your WBJEE 2021 application number and password
• Step 3: WBJEE 2021 result and rank card will be displayed on the screen
• Step 4: Download the WBJEE 2021 rank card and take a print out for future references

Information Mentioned in WBJEE Result/Rank Card
WBJEE rank card shows the total score and component scores obtained by candidates in both Paper I & Paper II. Ranks are allotted only to those candidates who have qualified in the WBJEE 2021 written exam. Candidates can download their WBJEE rank card after checking WBJEE result. 
It is advisable for candidates to carefully check all the details mentioned in their WBJEE 2021 scorecard. Apart from the personal details mentioned on WBJEE rank card, the following details will be also included:

• Roll Number
• Application Number
• Date of Birth
• Total Marks
• Composite Marks in Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics & Chemistry)
• GMR (General Merit Rank)/PMR (Pharmacy Merit Rank)
• Qualifying Status
• Photo

If anything missing then contact to concerned Authority as soon as possible.

A. WBJEE General Merit List (GMR)

• This particular List will be in the name and style of ‘GMR’ which will be applicable for admission to all the Degree Level Engineering / Technology / Architecture Courses available in all enlisted Engineering / Technology Colleges and Universities within the state of West Bengal.
• The above list will also be considered valid for admission to the Degree Level Pharmacy Course available at Jadavpur University.
• The list will be prepared on the basis of the candidate’s scores obtained in all the subjects (i.e. mathematics, physics & chemistry) in the WBJEE 2021.
• Ranking in GMR WBJEE merit list will be prepared in the descending order of total marks scored in all the subjects as stated above. However, there may also be ties and in such cases, the tie-breaking rule shall be applicable in the determination of the merit rank.
• Separate reserved category merit list will also be published for the respective category of students. For instance, SC Rank, ST Rank, OBC-A Rank, OBC-B Rank, PwD Rank, TFW Rank. But ‘GMR’ shall be applicable for competitive seat allotment and counselling.

B. WBJEE Pharmacy Merit List (PMR)

• This list will be prepared in the name of ‘PMR’, which will be applicable for admission to all Degree Level Pharmacy Courses available in all enlisted Pharmacy Colleges and Universities, except the degree level pharmacy course available in the Jadavpur University. The merit list GMR will be applicable for admission to the Degree Level Pharmacy Course in the Jadavpur University.
• The above list shall be prepared on the basis of the score of candidates who have appeared in the combined paper of Physics & Chemistry only in the WBJEE 2021.
• Ranking of this Merit List will be done in the descending order of total marks scored in Physics and Chemistry in the WBJEE 2021. However, there may also be ties and in such cases, the tie-breaking rule shall be applicable in the determination of the merit rank.
• Separate reserved category merit list will also be published for the respective category of students. For instance, SC Rank, ST Rank, OBC-A Rank, OBC-B Rank, PwD Rank, TFW Rank. But the ‘PMR’ shall be applicable for competitive seat allotment and counselling.

There are three separate merit lists for WBJEE exam for engineering medical and pharmacy entrance exams. The rule is not applicable to Jadavpur University.
Once the exam results are declared, the authorities will also release the merit list of qualified candidates. Only those candidates with their names in the merit list will be able to appear for the WBJEE counselling and seat allotment process. Candidates eligible to participate in the counselling process will be asked to register themselves for the counselling and also fill their preferred choice of college and course.  WBJEE counselling 2021 is to begin tentatively from the third week of June.

WBJEE Result 2021 - Tie-Breaking Rules
The merit list for candidates who have successfully cleared the Engineering entrance exam will be prepared on the basis of their score in WBJEE 2021 exam. However, in the case thereof tie, the below-mentioned criteria is prescribed as a tie-breaker: 

• Less negative marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry taken together
• More positive marks in Mathematics and Physics taken together
• More positive marks in Mathematics and Chemistry taken together
• Less negative marks in Mathematics and Physics taken together
• Less negative marks in Mathematics and Chemistry taken together
• More positive marks in Mathematics for only the 2 marks questions
• More positive marks in Physics for only the 2 marks questions
• More positive marks in Chemistry for only the 2 marks questions
• Less negative marks in Mathematics for only the 2 marks questions
• Less negative marks in Physics for only the 2 marks questions
• Less negative marks in Chemistry for only the 2 marks questions

Tie Breaker rule (PMR)

• Less negative marks in Physics & Chemistry
• More positive marks in Chemistry
• Less negative marks in Chemistry
• More positive marks in Chemistry for only the 2 marks questions
• Less negative marks in Chemistry for only the 2 marks questions
• More positive marks in Physics for only the 2 marks questions
• Less negative marks in Physics for only the 2 marks questions.

Final Tie Breaker GMR and PMR
If in case a tie still exists after the application of the above tie-breaking rules, the candidate's date of birth will be given preference. In such cases, the older candidate is considered for admission. This is applicable to both the GMR and PMR WBJEE merit lists.
