Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management University (GITAM) conducts GAT UGTP every year allowing candidates to apply for  Engineering, Architecture, Management, Health Science, Law, Nursing, and Pharmacy. The candidates qualifying the exam will be able to take admission at the three campuses of GITAM. Those campuses are Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. It is an online entrance exam. GAT UGTP 2020 Admit Card:

The candidates who have successfully completed the registration process can get the admit card by logging in to the official website. The admit card is a mandatory object for the entrance exam. No candidates will be allowed to appear for the entrance exam without the admit card. The admit card will contain important information like Name, roll no, date of exam.

GAT UGTP 2020 Cut Off:

The authorities of GAT UGTP will not be releasing any cut off for the entrance exam. The counselling for the exam will be done based on the merit list prepared by the authorities from the exam result.

GAT UGTP 2020 Application Form:

The candidates interested in applying for the entrance exam can check the official website of GAT UGTP to fill up the application form. However, the application form can be submitted online as well as offline mode. While applying in online mode, the candidates need to upload all the documents required and need to pay the required amount of application fee via net banking/credit card/debit card. While applying in offline mode, the candidates need to send the filled up application form along with the photocopies of the documents and a DD of INR 150/- at the below address.

Online Mode:

Step 1: Registration

  • Students need to fill up all the personal details like Name, Date of Birth, Email-id, Mobile Phone Number, Education qualifications, Preferred Test Centre, etc
  • Check all details before submitting

Step 2: Upload Documents

  • Upload all the required scanned documents.
  • The documents should be under the prescribed format of 4 - 50 kb 

Step 3: Application Confirmation

  • The students should check and validate all the given information before submitting the application
  • Candidates must take a print out of the complete application form for future use.

Steps to Apply Offline

  • Applicants can obtain the application via post from the Director of Admissions, GITAM University.
  • Applicants must sent a request in plain paper specifying their name with a complete postal address with a Demand Draft drawn in the favor of GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam.
  • Candidates can also visit any selected branches of Union Bank of India, Karur Vysya Bank, and Indian Ban for the application form

Application Form Correction
The Conducting authority does not provide any application correction window to make the necessary corrections. Once the application is submitted it can't be modified or corrected. Therefore, the applicants/students are requested to fill up the Application Form carefully and check the details given before the final submission. If an incorrect application is found, then the student's/applicant's registration for the entrance will be canceled.

GAT UGTP 2020 Counselling:

The counseling session for the GAT UGTP entrance exam will be followed by the result declaration. The eligible qualified candidates will be intimated for the counseling procedure via call letters. The candidates have to report at the stated venue on time. The time and place will be mentioned in the call letter. GAT UG TP Scholarship:

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management University provides merit-based scholarships to students who have scored ranks in between 1 - 3000. This scholarship is for B.Tech Programs only. Further, the scholarship can also be availed for the rest of the years, only if the student scores 8.0 CGPA or more every year.

  • Rs. 50,000/- merit scholarships per annum will be awarded to the top 2% of B.Tech. students in each department of the academic institutes of GITAM. (Subject to scoring 8.0 & above CGPA every year).

GAT UGTP 2020 Answer Key:

The answer key helps the candidates to evaluate their performance in the entrance exam before the release of the official result. It is the collection of the right answers to the entrance questions. However, the authorities of GAT UGTP 2020 will not be releasing any answer key.

GAT UGTP 2020 Eligibility:

The candidates applying for the GAT UGTP entrance exam are required to go through the eligibility criteria set by the authorities thoroughly. The candidates have to qualify all the criteria to be eligible for the exam. These are,

B.Tech. programs :
A minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and first class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.

B.Tech. in Biotechnology :
A minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics/ Biology, Physics & Chemistry and first class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.

B.Pharmacy :
A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination with Mathematics/ Biology, Physics & Chemistry subjects.

B.Arch :
A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry subjects and also shall qualify in NATA / JEE (Main) paper - 2.
