NCHM JEE (formerly known as NCHM JEE) is an entrance exam conducted by the national testing agency (NTA). The entrance exam allows the candidates to apply for B.Sc. Course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. The entrance exam is accepted in various important colleges across the country. The admit card for the entrance exam has been released already. NCHM JEE  2020 Admit Card:

NCHM JEE Admit Card 2020 will be released by NTA on the official website of the exam. Admit card for NCHM JEE 2020 exam will be released on April 1. Candidates can download their NCHM JEE admit card by logging in to their registered accounts. 
Candidates are informed that the admit card for JEE conducted by NCHM JEE is a mandatory document that aspirants need to carry with them to their test centre on the day of the exam. Aspirants are advised to carry two copies of their NCHM JEE hall ticket on the day of the exam as one copy of the admit card needs to be submitted to the invigilator and the other copy needs to be retained for NCHM JEE counselling day.

NCHM JEE 2020 Marking Scheme

For every correct answer in the Numerical Ability & Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning & Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs and English Language section, candidates will be awarded four marks. However, for every incorrect answer one mark will be deducted from their total.

NCHMCT JEE  2020 Cut Off:

NCHMCT JEE exam is a National level hotel management exam conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). NCHMCT JEE 2020 is scheduled for April 25, 2020. The Results will be declared on the official website on May 10, 2020.
1- Post declaration of NCHECT JEE Results, NCHMCT will release the cut off for the exam.
2- Cut off are prepared basis minimum qualifying marks as well as rank obtained by an aspirant in JEE.
3- The opening and closing ranks for NCHMCT JEE are released for individual colleges accepting scores of the hotel management entrance exam for all types of seats.

NCHMCT JEE  2020 Application Form:

NCHMCT JEE application form 2020 will be made available to aspirants from January 1 onwards. Candidates can fill the application form for NCHMCT JEE exam latest by March 31. 

NCHMCT JEE 2020 application form is made available online on the official website of National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) as well as National Testing Agency (NTA). NCHMCT JEE exam is conducted to offer admission to aspirants in hospitality programmes offered by colleges affiliated to NCHM. Aspirants are eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE if they have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent examination) from a recognised board with English as a subject. 
National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam 2020 (NCHMCT JEE 2020) will be held across 49 test centres in the country. Aspirants can apply for NCHMCT JEE exam on the official website of NCHMCT which is an autonomous body falling under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. In order to apply for NCHMCT JEE 2020, candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 800 if they belong to the General/OBC categories or Rs 400 if they belong to SC/ST/PD categories.

How to Fill NCHMCT JEE 2020 Application Form

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Important Points to Remember

NCHMCT JEE  2020 Counselling:

The counselling session for NCHMCT JEE 2020 will be conducted in the month of May. The NTA will be conducting the counselling session for the admission procedure. After the release of the cut off and result, the eligible students will have to register themselves for the counselling session on the official website. The candidates will be given the option to fill in their options for the institution and course as per their choices.
After the NCHMCT results, candidates who have cleared the NCHMCT JEE 2020 will be called for the counselling process which will be held on May 31, 2020.

Fee: There is no fee for the registration of Counselling, however, the candidate will have to deposit Seat Acceptance Fee INR 56,500/- which will be inclusive of part of Ist Semester Fee.

Transfer/ Migration: National Council does not allow inter-institute transfer or migration on any ground during the entire duration of course since the allotment of Institute is done on merit-cum-choice only.

Registration for NCHMCT JEE 2020 Counselling

All eligible candidates must register themselves online in order to be considered for NCHMCT JEE 2020 Seat Allotment in the 1st and 2nd round of NCHMCT JEE Counselling. The steps are given below:
1- Visit the website and find the relevant link ‘Online Registration and Choice Filling’
2- Register as a new candidate by clicking the link “New Candidate Register Here”
3- Read all the instructions given on the screen carefully and then click on the ‘Register’ button
4- Candidates must enter the details such as Roll Number, NCHMCT JEE Application No., Name and Date of Birth, as given in NCHMCT Results to register.
5- Applicants are permitted to proceed with the NCHMCT JEE 2020 Registration Process, only if the data entered by him/ her matches with the data of NCHMCT JEE 2020
6- Candidates are required to choose password and security question and the answer to that particular question
7- The password created by the candidate must be of minimum 8 characters and a maximum of 13 characters
8- Passwords are case sensitive which means ‘A’ and ‘a’ are treated as different characters
9- For subsequent logins, candidates can log in directly with their respective NCHMCT JEE 2020 Roll Number as their Login ID and the password
10- Candidates are advised not to share their password with anyone else. Neither NCHMCT nor NIC is responsible for violation or misuse of the password of a candidate
11- It is mandatory for every applicant to provide required additional information as indicated in the NCHMCT JEE 2020 Registration Form at the time of registration as if in case, a candidate forgets his or her password, the security question and answer provided by the candidate at the time of NCHMCT JEE 2020 Online Registration are to be used to issue a new password
12- If required, an applicant can change his/ her passwords after login

Candidates must verify their personal data that appears on the screen after login. A candidate is allowed only once to correct the data in respect of category, PWD, KM and Gender in the following ways:

Online Choice Filling for 1st Round

1- During Online Choice filling for the 1st round of NCHMCT JEE 2020 Counselling, registered candidates are required to select the choices of institutes in order of their preference. Choice of institutes is displayed on the computer screen according to the NCHMCT JEE 2020 Eligibility of a candidate.
2- Candidates can fill their choices in the order of preference from the list of available institutes. Candidates can even re-order or change their filled choices, delete the earlier choices and add a new choice any number of times until they lock their final choices

Locking of Choices

1- Candidates have to lock their choices before 5 pm of the last date only after they have finalized them.
2- The NCHMCT JEE 2020 locking of choices include steps like entering the password and confirming the locking.
3- The candidate is advised to take the print out of the page of choices filled by them as they need to show the signed copy at the time of reporting to the NCHMCT JEE 2020 Reporting Center.
4- In case a candidate fails to lock his/her choices by 5 pm of the last date than the last saved choices by the candidate gets automatically locked.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Counselling Process: Fee to be paid

When appearing for the counselling round, candidates need to pay seat acceptance fee amounting to Rs 57,500. Here, Rs 1,000 is the counselling fee and the rest (Rs 56,500) is the academic fee for the first semester of the hotel management course.

NCHMCT JEE Important Documents for Counselling

Some of the documents that aspirants should positively carry at the time of counselling for NCHMCT JEE 2020 exam are as mentioned below:
1- Certificate informing that the aspirant has cleared 10+2 level examination like:
2- Plus two level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School 3- Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education.
4- Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognised Board/ University.
5- General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
6- High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University.
7- Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in a foreign country recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education.
8- HSC Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of concerned state.
9- Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects, result of which should be available upto September 30, 2020.

NCHMCT JEE 2020: Admit card at the time of counselling

The admit card issued to aspirants at the time of the entrance exam needs to be preserved by them as the same needs to be produced at the time of counselling. If any aspirant does not have his/her duly attested admit card, he/she will not be allowed to take part in the counselling process.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Counselling: Direct admissions to 10+2 rank holders

There is another option available to students to secure admission in any of the Institutes of hotel Management (IHMs) and here they do not even need to take part in the NCHMCT JEE counselling process.
In each IHM, three seats are reserved for rank holders of 10+2 exams. Further, it has been shared that among these, one seat (each) is reserved for Arts, Commerce and Science stream toppers of 10+2 exams.
However, the condition to avail direct admissions in IHMs is that the student should be among the top "200 rank holders from respective streams from recognised Boards of school examination wherein up to 2 lacs candidates appear or 1 to 500 rank holders from Board of Examination where 2 lacs to 5 lacs candidates take examination. The inter-se-merit from recognised School Boards of examination shall be at par”, informs the official website.

NCHMCT JEE  2020 Result:

NCHMCT JEE 2020 result will be declared by National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) on the official website of the exam on May 10, 2020. Some of the important points that candidates should keep in mind regarding NCHMCT JEE answer key challenge are:

1- Candidates should have cleared the secondary and senior secondary level of exam with English as compulsory subject. Clearing English subject is mandatory.
2- Candidates appearing for final exam and awaiting final result are also eligible to apply for the exam (provided they submit their proof of qualifying 10+2 standard exam along with other eligibility conditions at the time of admission or counselling).
3- Applicants who have finished 12 years of official schooling in order are eligible to apply for the program.
4- High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University.
5- Any Public-School Examination in India or in a foreign country acknowledged by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education.
6- H.S.C. Vocational Examination accepted by NCVT and SCVT of the state applicant belongs to.

Age Limit

1- The higher age limit for General & OBC applicants is 22 years as on 1st August 2020.
2- The higher age limit for SC/ST is 25 years as on 1st August 2020.
3- Applicant should fulfill the minimum age criteria set by the exam conducting body.

Group–II (Cancelled candidates): Any aspirant whose NCHMCT JEE seat got cancelled in the first round of counselling because of non-fulfillment of allotment criteria.
Group–III (Reported and Freeze candidates): Candidates who reported to their counselling centre and selected the “Freeze” option. "Those candidates would not be allowed to submit fresh choices or modify choices. Their earlier allotted seat would be retained; however their allotted category may be upgraded as per business rules", informs the official website.
Group–IV (Reported and Float candidates): Aspirants who selected the "float" option in the earlier counselling round are allowed to take part in this counselling round so that they can "modify/add new choices or their existing choices would be considered for upgradation. If they want to modify their choices they can do so but their previously allotted seat (allotted Institute) will remain as a valid choice in this round. System will not permit the candidates to delete this choice; however they can rearrange this choice (Move-UP or Move-Down) as per their order of preference",
