The established Food Craft Institute Ahmedabad Society, set up in 1972 was upgraded as Institute of Hotel Management Ahmedabad in 1984 by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. With upgrading the course from Craft Course to IHM Ahmedabad offers 3 years Diploma in Hotel Management, further upgrading to B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) Regular & B.Sc. in H&HA (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) Vegetarian Cuisine with a combined intake of 295 students.
