NCHM JEE 2021 Counselling:
All important dates of the counseling process are released of NCHM JEE 2021 (National Council For Hotel Management Joint Entrance Exam). The first round of seat allotment will be done on 15 September. Choice locking for the first-round should be done on 13 and 14 September. The registration process began on 8 September and will end on 14 September. Candidates need to create their login ID and take part in the counselling process at the virtual reporting centres.
Rounds: There shall be three rounds of Counselling on the basis of merit.
Fee: There is no fee for the registration of Counselling, however, the candidate will have to deposit Seat Acceptance Fee INR 56,500/- which will be inclusive of part of Ist Semester Fee.
Transfer/ Migration: National Council does not allow inter-institute transfer or migration on any ground during the entire duration of course since the allotment of the Institute is done on merit-cum-choice only.
Registration for NCHM JEE 2021 Counselling
- All eligible candidates must register themselves online in order to be considered for NCHM JEE 2021 Seat Allotment in the 1st and 2nd round of NCHM JEE Counselling. The steps are given below:
- Visit the website www.nchmcounselling.nic.in and find the relevant link ‘Online Registration and Choice Filling’
- Register as a new candidate by clicking the link “New Candidate Register Here”
- Read all the instructions given on the screen carefully and then click on the ‘Register’ button
- Candidates must enter the details such as Roll Number, NCHM JEE Application No., Name, and Date of Birth, as given in NCHM Results to register.
- Applicants are permitted to proceed with the NCHM JEE 2020 Registration Process, only if the data entered by him/ her matches with the data of NCHM JEE 2021
- Candidates are required to choose password and security question and the answer to that particular question
- The password created by the candidate must be of minimum 8 characters and a maximum of 13 characters
- Passwords are case sensitive which means ‘A’ and ‘a’ are treated as different characters
- For subsequent logins, candidates can log in directly with their respective NCHM JEE 2021 Roll Number as their Login ID and the password
- Candidates are advised not to share their password with anyone else. Neither NCHM nor NIC is responsible for violation or misuse of the password of a candidate
- It is mandatory for every applicant to provide required additional information as indicated in the NCHM JEE 2021 Registration Form at the time of registration as if in case, a candidate forgets his or her password, the security question and answer provided by the candidate at the time of NCHM JEE 2021 Online Registration are to be used to issue a new password
- If required, an applicant can change his/ her passwords after login
Application Form Correction limitations:
- Candidates must verify their personal data that appears on the screen after login. A candidate is allowed only once to correct the data in respect of category, PWD, KM, and Gender in the following ways:
- Category from (SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL) to General allowed but vice versa is not allowed
- PWD can be changed from Yes to No, but vice versa is not allowed
- KM can be changed from Yes to No, but vice versa is not allowed
- Change of gender is permitted
- Changes in the field of Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, and Date of birth are not permitted under any circumstances
- If the personal data submitted by a candidate is found wrong at the time of verification of certificates, the allotment of a seat or provisional admission of such a candidate is liable to be cancelled
- Once a candidate verify and submit all the changes in personal data, no further permission is given to make changes under any circumstances
Online Choice Filling for 1st Round
- During Online Choice filling for the 1st round of NCHM JEE 2021 Counselling, registered candidates are required to select the choices of institutes in order of their preference. The choice of institutes is displayed on the computer screen according to the NCHM JEE 2021 Eligibility of a candidate.
- Candidates can fill their choices in the order of preference from the list of available institutes. Candidates can even re-order or change their filled choices, delete the earlier choices and add a new choice any number of times until they lock their final choices
Locking of Choices
- Candidates have to lock their choices before 5 pm of the last date only after they have finalized them.
- The NCHMCT JEE 2021 locking of choices includes steps like entering the password and confirming the locking.
- The candidate is advised to take the print out of the page of choices filled by them as they need to show the signed copy at the time of reporting to the NCHMCT JEE 2021 Reporting Center.
- In case a candidate fails to lock his/her choices by 5 pm of the last date than the last saved choices by the candidate get automatically locked.
NCHM JEE 2021 Counselling Process: Fee to be paid
When appearing for the counselling round, candidates need to pay seat acceptance fees amounting to Rs 57,500. Here, Rs 1,000 is the counselling fee and the rest (Rs 56,500) is the academic fee for the first semester of the hotel management course.
NCHM JEE Important Documents for Counselling
Some of the documents that aspirants should positively carry at the time of counselling for NCHM JEE 2021 exam are as mentioned below:
Certificate informing that the aspirant has cleared 10+2 level examination like:
- Plus two level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School 3- Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education.
- Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
- General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
- High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University.
- Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in a foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education.
- HSC Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of the concerned state.
- Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects

NCHM JEE 2021: Admit card at the time of counselling
The admit card issued to aspirants at the time of the entrance exam needs to be preserved by them as the same needs to be produced at the time of counselling. If any aspirant does not have his/her duly attested admit card, he/she will not be allowed to take part in the counselling process.
NCHM JEE 2021 Counselling: Direct admissions to 10+2 rank holders
- There is another option available to students to secure admission in any of the Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) and here they do not even need to take part in the NCHM JEE counselling process.
- In each IHM, three seats are reserved for rank holders of 10+2 exams. Further, it has been shared that among these, one seat (each) is reserved for Arts, Commerce, and Science stream toppers of 10+2 exams.
- However, the condition to avail direct admissions in IHMs is that the student should be among the top "200 rank holders from respective streams from recognized Boards of school examination wherein up to 2 lacs candidates appear or 1 to 500 rank holders from Board of Examination where 2 lacs to 5 lacs candidates take the examination.
