Q. Who can take part in the NCHM JEE 2021 Second Round of Counselling?
A: The below-mentioned aspirants can take back in 2nd round of counselling conducted by NCHMCT for Hotel Management course admissions:
- Group–I (Fresh candidates): Any aspirant who has not been allotted any seat in the first counselling round.
- Group–II (Cancelled candidates): Any aspirant whose NCHMCT JEE seat got canceled in the first round of counselling because of the non-fulfillment of allotment criteria.
- Group–III (Reported and Freeze candidates): Candidates who reported to their counselling centre and selected the “Freeze” option. "Those candidates would not be allowed to submit fresh choices or modify choices. Their earlier allotted seat would be retained; however their allotted category may be upgraded as per business rules", informs the official website.
- Group–IV (Reported and Float candidates): Aspirants who selected the "float" option in the earlier counselling round are allowed to take part in this counselling round so that they can "modify/add new choices or their existing choices would be considered for up-gradation. If they want to modify their choices they can do so but their previously allotted seat (allotted Institute) will remain as a valid choice in this round. The system will not permit the candidates to delete this choice; however they can rearrange this choice (Move-UP or Move-Down) as per their order of preference".
