Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national-level entrance exam that will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to provide admission into the Master’s (M.Pharm) programs. GPAT is held in a single session for admissions to 24000 seats of MPharma programs.

GPAT 2021 Admit Card:

The admit card for the entrance exam has been released by the authorities on the official website for the candidates who've successfully completed their application submission will be able to access their admit card from the official website. The admit a card is a mandatory object for the exam. No candidates will be allowed to appear in the exam without the admit card.

GPAT 2021 Cut Off:

The cutoff marks are the minimum marks that candidates have to obtain for qualifying in the entrance examination. Candidates can check the cut off marks to understand if they have qualified in the examination. The cut-off marks will be declared during the announcement of results.

Scholarship/ Financial Assistance through GPAT:

GPAT qualified candidates can also avail scholarship through NTAor CSIR for pursuing further studies and research in the field of pharmacy. GPAT qualified candidates can subsequently register for NIPER JEE to pursue M.Pharma in NIPER, the nation’s premier Pharmacy Institute. The financial assistance through NTA can be availed through the institute from where the institute is pursuing M.Pharma. The scholarship is tenable for the period of pursuing the postgraduate program. CSIR’s financial assistance (fellowship) on the other hand is available for pursuing integrated 5-year M.Pharma-PhD from AcSIR or any other laboratory of CSIR. These scholarships are also available for GATE qualified candidates for pursuing M.E/M.Tech/Ph.D. The fellowship amount through CSIR is INR 25000. The fellowship is however not available for candidates who have qualified SRF (Senior Research Fellowship).

GPAT 2021 Application Form:

Step 1. Registration:

1. Go to the official website of NTA GPAT
2. Click on"New registration"
3. Enter all the details asked such as name, email, mobile number, etc.
4. Provide a password
5. The application number will be generated

Step 2. Application Form:

1. Log in using the system generated application number and password

2. Fill all the necessary details asked in the application form

3. Select your preferred exam centre

4. Rec-check all the areas and then submit the application form

Step 3. Uploading Images:

Upload scanned images of photo and signature of the following specifications:

GPAT 2021 Counselling:

Candidates will be called for GPAT 2021 Counselling on the basis of their merit list. GPAT 2021 Merit List will specify the roll number of candidates, category, rank, total score, and qualified/non-qualified status. Counseling of candidates will be conducted individually by the various NTA-approved institutions. Allotment of seats will be on the basis of scores that candidates have obtained in the entrance examination. 

Documents mentioned below should be carried at the time of counseling:

1. Mark sheet and certificate of the qualifying examination

2. Category certificate (if applicable)

3. Migration certificate

4. Transfer certificate

5. GPAT 2021 admit card

6. GPAT 2021 scorecard

7. Passport size photographs

8. photo ID proof

Candidates need to follow the admission procedure of institutions that will be allotted to them on the basis of their GPAT 2021 scores. The notification of admission will be published on the official website. NTA will then send GPAT 2021 Merit List to the respective state governments for allotting seats to qualified candidates. The participating institutions/colleges of GPAT will then offer admission to candidates on the basis of their GPAT scores.

GPAT 2021 Result:

The GPAT score is accepted by around 800 collaborating pharmacy institutes. GPAT is accepted by all AICTE approved institutions, universities, and schools. Candidates should apply individually to the specified GPAT 2021 collaborating institutes with the scores of the examination. Then, every participating institute will unleash their various cut-off GPAT Score that candidates ought to meet to get qualified for admission to that specific institute. Candidates are suggested to determine the main points of the admission method of every collaborating institute of GPAT 2021 on their individual website.

How To Download GPAT 2021 Result Online?

1. Visit the official website of GPAT

2. Login by using your user ID and password.

3. Click on the link that says “GPAT 2021 scorecard”. You will be redirected to a page where you can download your scorecard.

4. Enter your roll number.

5. Your GPAT 2021 scorecard will appear on your computer screen.

6. Download the scorecard and take a printout of it as it will be required during counseling.

GPAT 2021 Answer Key:

The GPAT answer key will be released right after the exam is commenced. The answer key will contain all the answers to the questions asked in the GPAT examination. Candidates can calculate their estimated results using the initial answer key. Candidates can challenge the answer key within a given amount of time by paying Rs. 1000 per question. If the challenge is found correct, the total amount will be refunded. After all consideration, the final answer key will be released.

1. Go to the official website of NTA GPAT 

2. Click on the "Answer Key" tab

3. Enter your login credentials

4. The answer key will be displayed in PDF format

5. Download and take a print out of the answer key 

Steps to Challenge the Answer Key:

1. Go to the official website of NTA GPAT 

2. Click on the "Answer Key" tab

3. Enter your login credentials

4. Press the 'Click to challenge answer key' button

5. Choose the answer to be challenged and then click on "Save your claims"

6. Upload the required proof of documents

7. Click on "Save your claims and pay the fee"

8. Pay the fee according to the no. of answers challenged (Rs. 1000 per answer)

GPAT 2021 Eligibility: 

Educational Qualification:

1. Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2).

2. Lateral entry candidates possessing a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy are also eligible.

2. Candidates in their final year of B.Pharmacy are also eligible to appear for the exam.

3. B. Tech (Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology)/Equivalent candidates are not eligible to apply.

Nationality:

Candidates applying for GPAT 2021 must be an Indian citizen

Age Limit:

There are no such age criteria mentioned by the NTA to apply for the GPAT exam.

Eligibility Criteria for PwD candidates:

The extent of physical disability should be at least 40% as prescribed by a recognized medical committee. Persons with Disability candidates are provided with teaching assistants as chosen by the candidate on his/her application form. Categories of Pwd defined by NTA are:

1. Physically handicapped

2. Visually impaired

3. Hearing impairment

4. Dumb

Eligibility Criteria for Opting for a Reader/Scribe:

Visually impaired candidate opting for a reader/scriber should fulfill the below-mentioned criteria: 

1. Reader/scriber is not involved in any academic tutoring/preparation for the test to be administered

2. Reader/scriber must not be a family member/member of the candidate

3. Reader/scriber has academic qualification lower than that of the candidate
