AIEED or All India Entrance Examination for Design, conducted by ARCH Academy of Design is a national level entrance exam held for admissions to Undergraduate and Post-Graduate programs in Design. The exam is conducted in both online and offline modes and is organized in 2 phases each year. One is the Creative Aptitude Test (CAT) and the other is the General Aptitude Test (GAT). This exam tests the aesthetic sense, creativity & design sensitivity of students to have successful careers in the various fields of design, in addition to the logical reasoning & problem-solving aptitude of the student.

ARCH (College of Design & Business) has already started the registration process of AIEED 2021 from 21 November. The registration form of AIEED is now available in online mode. ARCH (College of Design & Business) has conducted the AIEED 2021 exam for admission to B.Des and M.Des program.

AIEED 2021 Schedule: 

AIEED Admit Card

AIEED Admit card 2021 is issued by Arch College of Design and Business on its official website. Candidates need to provide their login ID/registration ID and password to download their admit card for the AIEED exam. Admit card is mandatory to carry inside the exam hall without which the candidate won't be allowed to take the exam.

AIEED 2021 Syllabus: 

Though there's no specific syllabus mentioned by Arch College of Design and Business for AIEED 2020, still aspirants can expect questions from following areas:

AIEED 2021 Exam Pattern:

• The candidates will have to appear for the exam through online or offline mode.
• The AIEED entrance exam is aimed at accessing the candidates’ design sensitivity, logical reasoning & awareness on world affairs and the ability to solve problems and creativity.
• There are 2 different parts of the exam GAT (General Ability Test) or CAT (Creative Ability Test).
• The questions are of multiple choices (MCQ).
• The total number of questions is 50 (objective type).

AIEED Application Form

Candidates can fill AIEED 2021 application form online on the official website of Arch College of Design and Business. Steps to apply:

1. Register

Go to the official website of Arch College of Design and Business and register by providing details such as their full name, valid email ID, password and date of birth. On providing these details candidates will receive the registration number and password on their email address.

2. Application Form

Log into the official website of the college by using the credentials you got in your email. Fill all the necessary areas of personal details and academic details. Choose the test centre and campus preference and then submit.

3. Upload Documents

Candidates need to upload documents such as their photograph, Class 10 mark sheet, Class 12 mark sheet and address proof. All these files need to be in JPEG format and should not exceed 1 MB in size.

4. Payment

Candidates need to pay the AIEED application fee of Rs. 3000/- which can be done online or offline. The application fee can be paid online through Debit Card, Credit Card or Netbanking. The application fee can be paid offline by means of a Demand Draft (DD) that is drawn in favor of “ARCH Educational Society” and is payable at the following address:

AIEED Counseling

Candidates who have qualified the AIEED will have to participate in the counseling. They have to report at the ARCH Academy of Design campus in Jaipur for the counseling process as per the scheduled date and time slot. Candidates are required to carry AIEED Admit Card, along with a valid ID proof and a valid migration and transfer certificate while reporting for counseling. They will also have to deposit the admission fee as prescribed in the selection letter within the stipulated time to secure their seat. The admission is granted after the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria and merit basis.

AIEED Result

AIEED result is declared by Arch College of Design and Business on the official website within seven days of the test being conducted. Aspirants are notified about AIEED result through a call letter that is sent to candidates by means of an email as well as by post which contains the date, venue and time when candidates need to appear for the interview round for Academy of Design admissions.

AIEED Answer Key

The AIEED GAT Answer Key 2021 is available in different sets i.e. Set I, Set II, Set III, Set IV on the official website of the college. Aspirants should have to enter the set number of question paper time of downloading the answer key. With the help of answer key, candidates can compare their answers and get an idea about their result.

AIEED 2021 Eligibility Criteria:

UNDERGRADUATE (UG) LEVEL COURSES:

• Students must have passed 12th class from a recognized board.
• The candidates will apply for 4 year UG programme in Interior Design with a valid NATA score. The aspirants with a valid NATA score don't have to  appear for AIEED exam and they will appear for the interview round directly.
• PTEPTE Exam (Academics) to be cleared within 1 year of course commencement for progression to UK University

POSTGRADUATE (PG ) LEVEL COURSES:

• The candidates must have a graduation degree or the canddiates pursuing graduation in any discipline from a recognised university can also apply for this course.
• The candidates with a 2 years or 3 years diploma course in design are also eligible for this Advanced Level course.
