Q: What is the eligibility criteria to apply for ICAR AIEEA?
A: The eligibility criteria for ICAR AIEEA 2021 is given below:
- Nationality: Applicant must be an Indian.
Qualifying Examination:
- Minimum qualification required is 10+2 from a recognized board. The last two years of 10+2 should be studied with Physics, Chemistry and any one of the subjects amongst Biology/ Mathematics/ Agriculture/Home Science.
- Those who studied intermediate with Agriculture and not with Physics and Chemistry will be eligible for admission in some SAUs in the State of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
- Candidates who wish to opt stream-A in the entrance exam must have necessarily passed intermediate with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Agriculture/Home Science subjects. Stream-B aspirants have to pass the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.
- Intermediate with home science candidates will be eligible for admission into limited AUs.
- Minimum Marks: Candidates who belong to GEN, UPS (Under Privileged State) and OBC categories should have passed 10+2 examination with 50% aggregate marks (40% in case of SC/ST/PC).
- Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination (10+2) are also eligible to apply.
Q: Will there be an official answer key for ICAR AIEEA 2021?
A: NTA will publish the answer key of AIEEA on its website. Answer key of AIEEA will be available in online mode only. The answer key will be released a few days after the written exam.
The authority will publish the answer key for all four sets A, B, C & D. Along with the answer key, candidates will also able to download the question paper of all sets.
If candidates are not satisfied with the answer key the authority will open a window to challenge the answer key. Candidates will have to send the answer only in the stipulated time period.
Q: What is the mode of the examination?
A: The mode of examination is Pen and Paper based.
Q: What are the steps to download the admit card ?
A: The steps to download the admit card are as follows:
- Visit the official website of ICAR
- Click on the link ‘Admit Card’
- Provide the required information like registration number, name and date of birth, etc.
- Take print out of the Admit Card and preserve it for future references.
- Candidates must attest the Admit Card from the gazette officer
- It is necessary for candidates to attest photograph, signature and put thumb impression on the admit card.
Q: Is there any negative marking in this entrance?
A: Yes there is a negative marking of 1 mark for every wrong answer.
Q: How to download the answer key?
A: The answer key can be downloaded from the official website. The steps to download answer key is as follows:
- Visit the official website of ICAR.
- Click on the link displaying “ICAR 2021 answer key”.
- After clicking on link, answer key will be displayed on the screen in PDF format.
- Compare your answers with ICAR 2021 answer key.
- Download the answer key for future reference.
Q: What are the documents required in the counselling process?
A: The documents required in the counselling process are as follows:
- Candidates need to produce a list of documents in original and set of self attested photocopies of each of the following:
- All certificates and mark sheets/grade reports, in original of Class 10th and 12th
- Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate
- Character Certificate from the School last attended.
- SC, ST and non-creamy layer of OBC categories have to provide original Certificate as per Central Govt. requirements and issued by Competent Authority.
- In case of Physically Challenged (PC) candidates have to provide a medical certificate issued by Medical Officer of any Government Hospital with description of the kind and the degree of disability.
- Birth Certificate, in case if Date of Birth is not mentioned in the Class 10th certificate.
- e- Admit Card in original
- Counselling call/invitation letter from ICAR in original.
- Three recent colored passport size photographs with name and date same as the one submitted on the application form.
- Domicile certificate.
- Authority letter/undertaking if the candidate is unable to attend the counseling personally.
Q: How to raise a complain regarding the answer key?
A: The proper way to challenge or raise a complain regarding the answer key is as follows:
- Candidates who will not be satisfied or have discrepancy regarding ICAR AIEEA 2021 answer key may challenge it. The link for challenging the answer key will be made available on the website of ICAR.
- Candidates will have to fill online application form and will have to pay Rs 1000/- per question. The challenge fee will be paid through online mode such as credit/debit card or net banking.
- The fee once paid will not be refundable. If challenge will be accepted by the council, then the fee for each accepted challenge will be refunded to the candidate. Refund will be made through online mode to the concerned credit/debit card or net banking account.

- Enter application number, date of birth and security pin

Q: What are the steps to for offline application process?
A: The steps for the offline application process is sited below:
- Obtain offline application form along with the information bulletin from Registrars of Agricultural Universities against cash payment or from the prescribed branches of Syndicate Bank.
- The offline form will also be available in the eight institutions of ICAR by making the payment through the bank draft.
- Fill it manually using blue/black ball point pen.
- Paste the photograph, give the thumb impression and attest the documents by signing the application form in the given space.
- After verifying all the form details, stamp it with the appropriate amount from the bank and send the application form on the following address.
