HPCET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University(HPTU) every year to give admissions to BTech./BPharmacy/BPharmacy (Ayurveda), M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, MCA, and MBA in of Himachal Pradesh.

HPCET 2021 Admit card:

The admit card for HPCET 2021 will be released by the authorities of HPTU after the successful registration of the candidates. The admit card is expected to be released in the 1st week of May this year. The admit card is a mandatory thing while appearing for the exam.

Chemistry-

HPCET 2021 Cutoff:

The cut off is the minimum mark required to qualify the exam. The candidates have to secure at-least the cut-off mark to be qualified for the exam. The cut of for HPCET 2021 will be declared by HPTU soon after the declaration of the result. However, while deciding the cut off mark there are some factors which are taken into consideration. These are No. of candidates, No. of seats, Difficulty level of the exam, Seat reservation policies, Previous year admission trends.

Mode of payment:
The application fee amount can be submitted in any of the following modes-

  • Offline via e-challan

HPCET 2021 Counselling

The registration process for the counseling session will be conducted online. The registration will start from the 1st week of June tentatively. Qualified candidates will be able to attain the counseling session after the successful completion of registration. The admission will be processed keeping both JEE Main and HPCET in mind.

HPCET 2021 Result:

The exam conducting authorities of HPCET will declare the result for the entrance exam in last week of May of 2021. The result will be available on the official website of HPTU. The candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results by logging in to the official website.

HPCET 2021 Answer Key:

The Answer key for HPCET 2021 will be available on the same day of the commencement of the exam. Candidates will be able to get the answer key by visiting the official website of HPCET 2021. After the release of the answer key, the students will be able to evaluate performance and calculate their probable score. In case of any wrong information, the candidates can also complain against the official answer key with valid proofs.

HPCET 2021 Eligibility:

For B.Tech candidates:

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized Board or University.
  • Candidates should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.
  • Candidates should a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
For M.Tech candidates:
  • Candidates should have passed bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) in relevant branch of Engineering/Technology or equivalent from any recognized University/Institution.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
