Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry has released the rank letters for the academic session. It was released on 9th July. Two seats are available for MDS courses for July sessions. As per the JIPMER authorities a total of 331 aspirants have qualified the exams out of 669. And the JIPMER MDS Counselling registration has been started.
Steps to follow for JIPMER MDS counseling

Click on exam section and go to JIPMER MDS counseling option

Then click on the registration link

Log in to the applicant portal by entering your user ID and password

Fill the required details and pay for the required counseling fee

Take a printout of the registration form for future reference
Eligibility Criteria for the MDS Admission

Applicant should be a citizen of India

The candidate should possess BDS or an equivalent degree recognised by Dental Council of India

A minimum of 55% marks and for reserved categories (SC/ST) it should be 50% scored in the qualifying exam.

The candidates must have completed the required training of 12 months internship on or before 30th June. The aspirants not completing the internship on or before 30th June 2020 are not eligible for July 2020 session.
After successful registration, the aspirants are required to upload the certificates. The candidates can select the course and pay the admission fee. Based on their performance in the entrance exam they will be allotted seats as per the availability.
After the successful completion of the process, candidates are required to report to the institutes with the allotted letters, fee receipt, along with the original certificates for the admissions.
Note: - The candidates who have completed their MDS/MD/MS are not eligible for admissions into JIPMER.
